We toured Francois Bend Senior Living. I liked the fact that you had your privacy, but you also could go out and sit in different areas and talk with people. I liked it, but it was really out of my price range. I'd have to sell my house to be able to afford it.
It was very nice and clean. The staff during the tour was great and very thorough. She showed me everything, so I was pleased. They had a list of things that they offer. It was nice because it seemed like they kept the residents busy if they wanted to get involved in stuff, but if they wanted their privacy, they also had that. I liked the place.
They had a salon and a place that had books and it was a quiet place where you could read. They had a room where they did games and stuff like bingo. They had a very nice cafeteria. They had a dog walk, which was important to me because I have a dog. The dining setup was very professional. They had tablecloths on the tables. It was very nice.

I visited Francois Bend Senior Living for my brother, the place was very, very nice. The young lady that took me around and processed everything was very knowledgeable about the company, the situation, and the facilities. I spent probably 45 minutes talking with her. The room looked very nice and roomy. When we were there, it looked like they were playing cards with a group of people, and they were communicating with each other. It was very nice to see that kind of stuff going on with the elderly people. We looked at the dining area, but it wasn't set up because it was 10:00 in the morning, but it looked clean and comfortable. It looks like it could accommodate anything that may be needed to be done, and tables and chairs could be moved around quickly depending on how many people are there in-house.

Francois Bend Senior Living is new, so it's very nice. My cousin who's staying there said the food is good. They have a place where they can dine in together and listen to music on certain days. The staff seems very good. They have a hairdresser and a chapel. It's a very fine place. It's reasonable for what you get. The activities are pretty good. The rooms seem very clean.
