About This Community
Friendship Towers, with 100 apartments, provides independent retirement living for the active, self-sufficient older adult, with the emphasis on an older adult-friendly environment. The main ingredient that sets us apart from other living options is the caring atmosphere that exists among our residents, their families and our dedicated staff. As a bonus, at Friendship Towers we are certified by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to provide assisted living services to those residents who need “a little extra help” with activities of daily living, on a temporary or permanent basis.

Independent living at Friendship Towers is just that – independence! Residents enjoy the privacy of their own apartment along with the convenience of being close to neighbors and services. The building is designed to accentuate comfort, convenience, security and affordability.

A wide range of services and amenities encourage the resident’s independence as well as lay the groundwork for very special friendships to form.

I toured Sayre Christian Village - Friendship Towers Assisted Living. It's a huge compound. It was wonderful. It was a beautiful place. There was a waiting list, and I can see why. It's extremely nice, and they're a nonprofit center. The cost was about right up there with everything else. The facility was bright. They were decorating for Christmas. They have volunteers over there all the time. They come from all over to make the place nice. The rooms have full kitchens. They're very nice rooms. The staff were extremely nice. They were wonderful. It's gorgeous.

The staff of Sayre Christian Village was very welcoming. The rooms that they showed us were very spacious and nice. The only thing that stopped us from going there was the COVID outbreak that they had. They said they weren't accepting anyone for about three weeks. They wouldn't allow visitors in the room, so we were going to have to pay for her laundry, medications, and the other things that we were going to have to do for her. That would have been more expensive anyway, but it was a very nice place. They were opening up a brand-new dining room with a musical stage, and there were lots of entertainment possibilities that I thought my mother would have liked.
