We toured Westminster Village Terre Haute. It was a very, very nice experience. The lady that took us around was very knowledgeable and very personable. There's a nice family atmosphere. It seems like it was a community inside a community, it was very nice. They even had a bank. The apartments were very impressive. They were a nice size. We looked at a one-bedroom apartment and it was just a nice experience. I would recommend it highly. The staff who gave me the tour was very friendly. She just put you at ease, and she was very, very sweet. The dining area was impressive. We didn't eat there, but we thought it was pretty neat to have so many selections. For my dad, that's a really important factor. He was looking at the menus a lot, so he seemed pretty impressed by that. We saw lots of things posted for activities. The lady that gave us the tour pointed them out. We even met the person that leads the exercise activities, but we didn't see anything. It looked like they offered a lot of nice things. I like the activities that are offered. It looks like there was something every day and a lot of variety.

My wife and I have been residents of Westminster Village for over 3 years. We have experienced the ease of living in this community without the worries of taking care of a home. We have found in our case that our living costs are much less than maintaining a home. We are very satisfied that we made the move to Westminster. It is a place where you can get involved in as many activities as you wish, or just live your life in peace, knowing that you are part of a community, and you have all the resources of the community behind you.

They had an alzhiemers unit and the food was good, the nurses were nice but as a family we had to stay on top of moms care while she was there. My mom fell and fractured her back several times in the 8 months she lived there. Also found several alzheimers patches on mom and these were suppose to be changed daily.
