We visited Harmony at Avon. They had apartments, but no cottages. They're all very modern because they've been open for two years. They had a patio. The staff was excellent, very friendly, and helpful. The food was very good. The upkeep and cleanliness of the facility was excellent. They had a wellness center, a theater, and they had social areas on each floor.

We liked Harmony at Avon a lot. It's a beautiful place, but in my friend's situation, the expenses were a little too high. The lady that we talked to was really helpful and very knowledgeable about the facility and how she could help if it came to the point where things would have to go from private pay to Medicaid or something. We saw one of the apartments and it was nice, my friend was happy with the size of it. It was very clean. It's not too far from a hospital and eating places, and they have a shuttle service for people, so it's not like you have to drive yourself.
