We liked Randall Residence of McHenry. It was very good and very clean. The apartments were very good, and we liked them as well. The dining area was clean, nice, and well maintained. The staff during the tour was very nice.

The minute we walked in we were greeted and welcomed to the facility. Very knowledgeable about the entire facility and took the time to answer any questions we had. The staff was very friendly and courteous and helped us out when we moved in our mother just recently. I could not have asked for better support system then we received. They have activities and very nice amenities that family members can use while visiting there relatives. They take special care and attention to your needs and that what was most impressive! I recommend this facility to anyone that wants the type of care you want for your relative or family member. This facility goes above and beyond the care we thought our family member was going to receive. Please check it out because it was a great experience for our family. Warm regards-

I like Randall Residence of McHenry a lot. It's in what I consider to be a very good location because of its proximity to the hospital and doctor's office and on a personal level, it's close to where my son lives. They also mentioned that it is close to a Catholic church which is important to me and that they have transportation over to the church. Those were all on the plus side. They have garages available which is another thing that I would like to have. It isn't 100% necessaryy but I think it helps sway the decision a little bit to know that's available. I found the staff to be very friendly. I had the opportunity to meet some of the residents and found them all to be very pleasant and nice. I thought the apartments were adequate for my needs. The building itself backs up onto a nice wooded area so that there are pleasant views from every apartment. I did not try any food, but the dining room was well set up and looked like a pleasant place to be. Independent and assisted are in the same building, The memory care unit has its own building. The decor seemed to be a little bit old and maybe not as light and bright as some other places.

I really liked it. I liked the highlights of the activities. It seemed very stimulating, and I liked that they also had assisted and memory care. It looked very nice, and it had a little fancier look to it. The staff was very friendly and very thorough. The dining area was very nice, and there were options for meals. They had a garden area.

I moved to in 5 months ago. I like it here, everything is great including the amenities and the staff. They have exercise classes, card games, trivia games, crafts and church services. They take us grocery shopping. They offer 3 meals a day, and the staff is loving, friendly, and helpful. They have housekeeping services every 2 weeks.

It is my mother's choice of facility. She is very comfortable and happy there. She loves it! She also enjoys the fact that it is close to her one daughter. She likes the residential area that it is in. It isn't in the city, so she has a lot of woods and farmland views to look out on. The facility itself is most definitely clean. They have independent, assisted and memory care. Regarding activities, they pretty much have the same activities as the other facility does. They have musical group coming in, they have games, bingo and card games, they go out shopping, etc. I would most definitely recommend this facility.
