I visited Peace Village. I like the location. It was a very good location. The grounds are very pretty. The buildings are very, very nice. They have a few restaurants, and the restaurants are nice. The hallways are well-kept. They have a couple of washing machines on each floor, and that's very convenient. Most of them that I've seen have balconies, which are very nice, and there's plenty of closet space, too. They have a lot of activities there that you can participate in. Every day, they go somewhere else, and they even go to where you can play the slots. I thought it was very outstanding. The price is right in comparison to the other facilities. Another thing is, if you have a car, they have inside parking, which is great. It's an additional cost, but it's minimal.
If I will be making a change, I probably would go to the Peace Village. The person who took me around was very informative, very thoughtful, and very polite. She's a nice, personable person. She went above and beyond her duties because she gave us a few interesting points that we didn't think of. About the food, the people that we talked to were all very happy with the meals. They kept saying to us, 'Are you moving in?' We kept saying, 'We're thinking about it,' and they said, 'You'll be very, very happy'. So it seems like the residents are very happy. They have all kinds of facilities. They have different buildings and a person that is unable to walk would have to have a scooter or something, and the halls are wide enough for that. I saw two people on walkers. There are different types of restaurants and they're throughout the different buildings. The conveniences are good if you're able to manage for yourself. It wouldn't be a place that you couldn't manage. You would have to have a caretaker or go to assisted living.

Peace Village was gorgeous, it was very nice. They've got different kinds of apartments. The only thing I did not like is that it doesn't have a washer and dryer in the apartment. You can have one installed, they'll do it if you want it at $1,000. They have different things going on, they have concerts and all kinds of stuff like that. The staff that assisted me was perky. It's got a $49,000 buy, and you have to come up with that right away. I was looking at the smallest unit, the one-bedroom with living room, kitchen, and bathroom is $1,990 a month. The whole place looks nice. It's one of the cheapest ones out there. After the initial $49,000, the rent is not that high, but it was out of my reach. It seems like the people there were very nice and it's all elevators, so you don't have to worry about climbing stairs.

The Peace Village was very nice and very clean. The personnel there seemed very nice and it had a nice setup for older people. We looked at their independent living, and everybody was friendly. It was very clean and they seemed very caring. The staff who showed us around was very, very helpful and she described everything very well. I was there once before, during lunch, and the food was very good. I would have liked to see a larger apartment but theirs was also very nice. They had a beautiful courtyard, a pond with a fountain in the middle, and it's a beautifully-landscaped place.

We're going to Peace Village. It's close to where I live, and the food plan was ideal for my sister. The rooms were very nice.

Peace Village is a very nice place; my mother moved in maybe two weeks ago. It seems well kept, and the people are nice. She is enjoying herself. She has a 1-bedroom apartment that has a small kitchen in it. She is on the second floor with balcony. They go to movies, short trips, and take them to shopping. There’s a beauty salon on site and a bank.

Peace Village is a beautiful facility and remodeled. They have doctors, a bank, and it’s close to grocery stores. They have nice apartments, and they have inside garage parking for their residents. They have a buy-in fee, so it’s kind of pricey. That’s where I would go, if I can afford it

Peace Village was a beautiful place. The apartments were very nice but it was very expensive. We liked it and the staff was fine.

We like Peace Village. They were a little bit more expensive. Everybody loves the staff. You can walk down the hall, and they're greeting everybody, and everybody is smiling back at them knowing their names. That's what we were looking for.

Overall Peace Village has been a great place. Just visiting I was surprised by the nice and beautiful scenery of the facility. There is nice walkways for walking or jogging and breathtaking trees next to a beautiful pond. The staff are really friendly and truly care about taking care of seniors and making sure that everything is right for them. Since moving in, my grandpa has made many friends with the residents who live there, and they are able to take recreational classes and learn things such as painting. The facility also has access to local transportation, onsite medical care, and pharmacy delivery. The food they serve to residents is also amazing, and is great in variety and nutritious too! My grandpa was really hesitant about moving into Peace Village, but they've really made the whole transition painless and easy on him. He is still able to live independently and privately, but does not have to worry about maintenance and house-keeping. I'm really glad that we chose Peace Village for my grandpa.
