We went to Jennings Terrace, and we liked it. The place looks good, but my mother-in-law is not yet ready. We toured both assisted and independent living. The independent living looks a little bit better, but both places are nice. It looks like the people who run it are very nice. Everybody is very kind over there. The staff who toured us was very nice. She took us all over the place. She was very helpful. The place itself is old, but well-maintained. Of course, it would be better if the place was a little bit newer, but it's fine. You can go and sit outside in the park, so it's a nice place.

We toured Jennings Terrace. It was nice and clean. It was a little too -not a homey look, it was more of an industrial look, but it was very neat. The staff who gave the tour answered all of our questions and took us around the whole place, and she was very informative. We checked the dining area and we saw people eating, but we didn't sample any food. We also went into an activity room which was more like a music room for church services, it was a room for all kinds of things, but when we went, there wasn't anyone doing any kind of activity. The facility had a very nice layout.

We went to visit Jennings Terrace but my mother-in-law didn't care for it. I like the open space they have. I'm glad they have many activities and 24-hour care. You can have a double room, which is like a small living space plus your bedroom, and then the other one was just your bedroom. They may have some furnishings, but mostly, you bring everything you need. The tour was good and the staff answered all my questions. They offered us meals but we had other appointments. They have a courtyard and chairs and benches outside, it's a very nice setup with the gazebo.

Jennings Terrace was an older facility, but everything was very nice. They were remodeling one whole area and the dining room, so we didn't get to see that too much. They had to share a bathroom, but some of them could have their own bathroom. The tour guide was very nice.

Jennings Terrace had all stages of living, independent and assisted, and memory care as well. It was a nice place. The rooms were smaller, but you could get two rooms together. One of the things that would turn our mother off in just this particular case is the shared bathroom. The staff member did a great job and showed us the different areas. The dining area was nice and everyone raved about the food there. We tried the mac n' cheese and something else and it was good. I enjoyed it. We went there on a weekend when they usually have less activities, mostly because they have a large population of people whose loved ones come and get them on the weekends. They had a list of activities during the week though.

It’s a good value for the price we paid at Jennings Terrace. They have good food. They do have basic activities. It is clean, and they give good care. This is not a very fancy place. She has two rooms with a living area, a bedroom, bathroom, but not every room has a shower. There’s no kitchenette in her room. They have exercise classes, bingo. They do a lot of card games. They do go out but not a lot. It is a mid-range facility overall.

Jennings Terrace is in a community that mother was familiar with. It was close to her home, and the price was right. It was something that she could afford. All the others were way too expensive. She is in independent living, she is very happy there, she likes the food and the people, and she feels very much at home.

Jennings Terrace was built in 1965, so it is quite dated. It is clean and nice, but it is an older facility, so it is more dated. It is well kept, and the people were very nice and very kind. The rooms are very small, and the bathrooms are tiny. You could have two rooms if you want with the bathroom in the middle. The outside wall is concrete black and not like your pretty dry wall. It is clean, and the people were accommodating and so nice, but it didn't feel homey. It felt more like an institution type of thing. I give the people an excellent rating, but the place itself I'd give about a three.
