Karcher Estates is situated in a desirable location near the Karcher Mall right off of Caldwell Blvd. We have full kitchens in our spacious independent living, 6 levels of care in our assisted living, respite care at any level, post-acute rehabilitation or long term skilled care.

My mother has moved into Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates. The intake coordinator was extremely caring and helpful. She discussed how she could make this work for us. It was just very positive. I had two meetings with her before I brought my mom. Then we had one meeting with my mom. She really made a difference for us.
The facility has independent living and assisted care on the other end. They have a nursing home or rehab care on the other end, which is handy if you have to change levels of care. You don't have to move out of one facility into another. It's a little bit older facility, but it's very warm and nicely decorated. The people are very friendly. We talked to residents that had been there for years, and they were real happy.
The food is really good. Her apartment is really cute and really nice. It's a two-bedroom because that's all they had available, and my mom loves it. It has a washer and dryer. We were real pleased with the apartment. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. The maintenance and everything are fine. They offer a lot of activities for the people. They're all expensive, but it was probably on the lesser end of some of them.

We liked the tour that we had at Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates. It was great. Carla was the lady that we met with and we liked the customer service we got. The place appeared to be very clean. They have a beauty salon and exercise classes, and we observed residents playing crossword puzzles. We got a tour of one of the studio apartments and one of the one-bedroom apartments and they seemed to be nice.

I toured Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates. They have a library, an exercise room with some guidance from exercise directors, they have equipment there for exercising, a beauty shop, a greenhouse on the premises, which I was very interested in, card games, and puzzle tables on every floor. Anybody can put a puzzle up if they wish to. The room has a kitchen area, whether you get a one-bedroom or a two-bedroom. I haven't decided on that yet, but there was plenty of room for one or even two people. What I was excited about was the outdoor little patio area where you could go outside and have a table and sit and eat if you want to, or just have a cup of coffee, and it's screened as well so that you can leave a door open and get fresh air in, even if you stayed in your own house or apartment.

Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates was awesome. We got a nice tour from Carla. She showed us all the amenities. We were able to talk to some of the residents who were just ecstatic to be there. Everybody seems to love it. The rooms seemed spacious and entirely adequate. We had some other appointments for tours, and we decided not to go on those because we like them so well. We like everything about it. I think it's going to be perfect for my mother.

Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates provides an amazing level of care. The staff who toured us around was respected by the residents. Everytime she turned the corner, everybody was happy to see her and praised her. It seemed that way with all the other staff as well. They have exercise classes, bingo, outdoor activities, and little field trips to different places. She also said that at one time they had taken everybody down to Jackpot. The list just goes on and on. I was really impressed with it.

The staff of Karcher Estates was very friendly and were willing to go above just to show us everything. They explained it all very well, gave us copies of the menu, and gave us prices. They have movies, their own driver, weekly maintenance, and haircuts. They were really good about checking back too. In fact, the person called the other day to see if we had made any decisions or anything; it was really nice for her to do that.
The facility was older, but I think they kept it up very nicely. She mentioned that there were several couples that have known each other for years that are all there together, and so that was kind of cool.

We went to Karcher Estates, and there was a gal there who had arranged for us to look at her home. She had an exterior opening door so we didn't have to go into the facility. We were accommodated extremely well. The room was very nice and much larger than some of the places I have seen in the past. Everything was very well kept. They offered a lot of activities, arts and crafts, a green house out in the courtyard, exercise activities, hair and nail appointments, religious activities, and transportation.

I am 83 years old, my wife passed away
we were married 61 year.
I am very happy here. The staff, my apartment, activities and the care I receive is outstanding.
We are close to shopping, and everything we need
We are one big family.
I'm glad I selected Karcher Estates in Nampa,Idaho to live out the rest my life.

My experience touring Karcher Estates was very positive. The staff was friendly, informative, and it's a well-maintained community. The room they showed me was very adequate, clean and well-maintained. The food is very good, there are lots of choices and it's of decent quality. They told us that they have lots of social activities. Some of their amenities is a beauty salon, a little theater for showing movies, meeting rooms and everything you could desire.

My dad moved into the independent living of Karcher Estates. We were very happy with the facility at the time up until the last couple of years. He moved in to the assisted living wing, and it seemed like they were terribly understaffed. The staff that were there seemed overworked and stretched too far. Their level of care was very inadequate. The food was OK. In the last couple of years, it really went downhill and became shabby. There were torn carpets and the furnishings were looking very worn. My dad had a room with access to a courtyard but they let the grass die out there and hadn't kept up the landscaping in that area.
