We toured Heatherwood Senior Living. That was a nice community. It was friendly. They took the time to show us around and through several different room offerings that they had. The rooms were clean. They seem to be accommodating to minor changes if we needed them. They had basic transportation amenities, and they had meal service. The place seemed well cared for and clean. The rooms were kept up. I didn't see any issues there. The thing I remembered most about this place was the dining area. It was really nice, it was large and kind of restaurant-style. The staff were very nice and spent time with us.

My tour at Heatherwood Senior Living was fine. I saw a library room. I saw a puzzle room. I saw a video room, and the rooms. Their rooms were fine. I didn't see any staff other than Jennifer; she was fine.

We moved into Heatherwood Senior Living. We really like it. They have nice people and good food, and it's in beautiful condition. The maid service is great. We're totally happy with it. The activities are good. My husband plays bingo, and right now he's down playing some kind of baseball game. They have card games and musicians come in once a week. They have a variety of activities. They have a bus that takes people places, but I still drive. The staff is wonderful. I have nothing whatsoever negative to say about any of the staff. It's great. There is a lot of variety in their food, and that's a good thing. You always have a lot of choices. We have a one-bedroom and it's fine. It's what we expected. It has a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. We have laundry available free. My husband had his hair cut and his beard trimmed. They have an exercise room, a theater-type room, a puzzle room, and a library upstairs. It's in great shape. They just remodeled it and it's beautiful. Compared to the apartment we lived in previously, this is fantastic.

We're seriously thinking about Heatherwood. I liked it because it was newly remodeled, and no one had lived in it. It was a very clean place with all the remodeling going on. Their menu was very selective. The staff seemed super friendly. Everything was very clean. They were friendly. They presented us with a meal. They didn't know that we hadn't eaten, so we just got what the residents had left over. It was very tasty. The manager was super informative. She answered all the questions very honestly. She introduced us to a couple of other people, and they seemed really friendly too. She was super good, super friendly, and super informative.

Our experience with Heatherwood Senior Living is great. She just moved in but so far the staff has been friendly and the lady, Brandy, was hopeful and friendly. They've done a lot of rehab work to the place and renovations so the rooms are nice. Her room has just been renovated, brand-new carpet, and there's a walk-in shower so that's great. It's hard to tell if they have activities because of the COVID. But some residents were hanging out at the front, there was an old guy there with his dog. So far so good overall, the staff has been pretty friendly. My mom also likes the meals, the place is very clean. They have a calendar of events for the whole month and it's filled with stuff for them to do. For $2,000 per studio and that includes the 3 meals a day and transportation if needed, I think it's great value.

The food at Heatherwood Senior Living is okay, sometimes I don't really particularly care about. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is small but I don't plan on staying here because I want a kitchen. Right now, we can't leave our rooms unless it's an emergency, and we have a mask because of this virus. The place is actually quite nice, I just don't like how they treat the people like they're kindergartens. I can understand for some of them, but I don't understand why their high point is coloring because I did that when my daughter was a baby. They also have other activities going on. The staff comes in to clean the room. Sometimes the food is quite good but other times it's not my taste. Today we have Chinese food and for supper we had pizza and a salad. They also have bingo, card games, trivia, they go around the rooms and they ask us if we want certain things since we're not allowed to go out unless we have a mask on. The price is expensive to be in this little room. The room is okay, but for $2,000 a month I don't think so, though it includes the water, light, TV and the cleaning for you. This place is really going to look nice when they're done landscaping, and they're also in the middle of remodelling.

The tour at Heatherwood Senior Living was very informative. The place was being remodeled, so the tour was a little different because it was a work in progress. Regardless, I learned a lot. I saw a couple of apartments. There were only studios and one-bedroom apartments there.

We visited Heatherwood Senior Living, and everything was fine. I would recommend them to anyone who asked or would want to know about them. We had a meal there, it was very fun, and the food that we ate was fine. You can workout, join a walking club, and more. It's almost like a little community. I would rate them a four because they were still under construction when we visited. They apologized for that, but at least they were still willing to show us around.

I'm moving to Heatherwood Senior Living this Saturday. It felt better, and I liked it. I had lunch there, and the food was delicious. The rooms were a bit larger. The staff seemed very nice and helpful. They had a walking group, fitness room, and cards. The apartment I got is on the ground floor, and they allow pets.

Heatherwood was the first place we went to, and I was impressed with them. It was beautiful, the entryway had beautiful mirrors on the wall, and the next section had a grand piano in the middle. Overall, it was majestic. It was definitely in our budget. The people were so nice, they even gave us lunch. You can order from the menu if you don't like what's being served, which impressed me. They also have a salad bar. Everything was nice, until we got to the rooms. They were small, and that stopped us right there. They were very clean, and the housekeeping staff was respectful.

I lived at Heatherwood for a year and a half. I didn't like the new owners, they didn't care, and they increased the rent, so I left. The staff was outstanding. We had dances, Bingo, card games, painting, and we went on trips. They had an activity room, friendship room, church service on Sundays, and a treasure valley room. However, the new owners put a restriction on the lobby. I do not recommend this place.

My mother is in Heatherwood. The staff is great, and the facility is very good. They're very attentive, and everybody is very generous and pleasing to work with. The apartment is very basic, but it meets her needs. It's a studio, but they do have one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms as well. They're very well maintained. The layout is very easy. They have elevators to get up to the second floor as well as stairs. The grounds are very well kept. She loves the food, and it's always available.

We placed dad at Heatherwood Retirement Community four months earlier, not really realizing how quickly he as declining, so it was pretty obvious around the second month that he was in the wrong place. However, I would say they were fantastic. Everybody loved the staff. They had lots of activities. Insofar as a retirement, they were not upscale because they were on the lower end of the price range, so they were not really fancy. The building was older and so on, but those things I don't really consider important. I thought he would have been happy there had he gone like a year earlier. The room was nice, clean, and freshly painted. He was in a studio which was the smallest room that they offered. They also had one bedroom and two bedroom units for more money. He had a fairly large room with a small kitchenette, a small closet, and a large bathroom. They had lots of music and people coming in performing for the group. More than once a week, they had a group talk where someone would be leading a conversation, and other people would be part of it. They had bingo, games, and they also had outdoor activities where you could sign up and go to a movies, go swimming, go outside the community and do things with other members on a bus that they had. My dad complained a lot about the food, and I attempted to eat one meal. I would say 50% of their food was wonderful, but they had specific things that were good, and a lot of the other foods I would say were subpar like the chicken was really dry or the steak was hard to cut. For a picky eater, it was not a good place.

Heatherwood was nice and clean. They have a private bathroom. I don't think they had a kitchen in there because you eat down in the main lunchroom three times a day, but I think there's a little place where you make coffee in each room. The dining area was a like a restaurant. It was more open and good-looking food. I probably would get involved in a couple of activities, like card-playing and pool shooting. They have outings on the bus.
