We have chosen Mt. Pleasant Home for my mom. She likes the atmosphere. They take care of everything for her, and they're very helpful. Her room is a corner room, so she's got very large windows. The carpet is new. The bathroom is set up perfectly for guardrails and everything. The handrails are just perfect. She likes the food. They do bingo, they do crafts, and they have bonfires and cookouts. Value for money is very good. It's very homey, too.

Mt. Pleasant Home was really friendly, and we got to meet the residents. The manager (or whatever his title was) answered questions without hesitation. He was extremely honest about everything going on there. The food looked really good, and we got to see the huge activity room. It was a nice place. The building used to be a mansion. You could choose between having a large room with your own bathroom and a room with a bathroom that you would share with maybe a couple of other people. It's an independent living facility. Everyone was really nice. All the residents seemed to know each other, and it was like they were a family.
