We toured Bishop Drumm Retirement Center and we looked at both the independent and the assisted living. Although, I probably spent more time looking at independent living. It's very nice and welcoming, and seemed like a very close-knit community. The staff who toured me was very nice and she was very good. The rooms were nice. They weren't amazing, but sufficient and seemed very affordable. But the primary things that I liked were the environment, like the staff environment, and the community setting. The upkeep was okay but could use a little bit of updating, as some physical updating here and there. It is sufficient, though, and not horrendous or anything like that. The food and dining areas were nice. On the independent side, they have one larger one, and then on the assisted living side, they have them kind of grouped smaller, which is nice. I don't know what the food was like, but it looked inviting. It's a Catholic community, and I saw a prayer group or a faith sharing group, which was nice. They may be a little bit lacking in the outdoor spaces, which was the one thing that I wish they had more of. They have a nice garden, but it's a little smaller.

Bishop Drumm Retirement Center was very nice, but it was very expensive. It's a buy in and I'm not ready for that. I would recommend it. It's very pretty and very clean. The rooms were very well appointed, but a little small. They had a good activities program. The staff was very friendly. Everything clicked very well. Everyone was very nice. The amenities were nice. The grounds were well kept.
