I have been a resident for little over a year and I have not regretted my decision to move here one time. Kevin is a great director who cares about ea individual. his door is always open. As you see from the pictures Lori and her team provide a wide variety of activities that includes everyone. Your choice which u want to attend or not. It feels like the dysfunctional family we have all known kudos to all the staff that makes living here a plesure

I had an in-person tour of Discovery Village At Sugarloaf. It was very nice, and the people were nice. I don't have any problem with it. I was looking at a cottage. You can pay extra and get meals, but it's not normally included with the general rent. They have a pool, an exercise room, and a dog walk place. It's beautiful. The room was small. The cottage was small, and there were not a lot of closets. They did have a garage for the cottages.

We're in Discovery Village At Sugarloaf. It offers cottages for independent living, and it offers assisted living. We need to move into assisted living because my wife has issues that make it impossible to live in independent living anymore. We have a cottage; they have about six-to-eight cottages that are truly independent. The cottage we had was about 1800 square feet. It had one bedroom, it was very nice, and they kept it nice and clean. The staff was excellent. We have nothing but good impressions of the food. The food is well balanced, the servings were smaller than we're used to, but we can get as many servings as we want, and it was difficult to choose for a special diet. I have to be on a low-carb diet, and sometimes I had trouble finding a combination that was low carb and still attractive. I think they can improve in that respect. The food is of a good variety, it's very good quality, and it's generally quite good. During this virus thing, we can't have guests, but when we first came here, we were able to have guests come in and have meals with us, which was very nice. The cost has gone up dramatically for us.

We chose Discovery Village at Sugarloaf because of the price, the location, the friendliness, and the acceptance of pets. Yes, they accept pets. The rooms are pretty decent, other than an air circulation problem. They said they'll put the ceiling fans in, but they have not done that. My parents are in a one-bedroom, and it's really nice. They're on the bottom floor, so the location is good. They have a balcony and can go outside. The food is fine; neither one of my parents are complaining about it.
My mom went the other day to the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta. They take them out and have activities all throughout the day for them to do. My mother is very happy in there, which is shocking, because I thought she's the one that would be against it, but it's made her happy, so it's really working well for us.

Discovery Village At Sugarloaf is very nice. They have a cottage that has a garage. It is open and near the parking lot, which isn't busy. The staff members were very nice and very accommodating. The dining area was very nice. They have activities. They have bingo and cards, and they have a swimming pool and hair salon. They have everything.
