My family member moved in 1 year ago at which time the promise was an on sight dining room. Bus service to medical appointments and activities, none has come to be. Also the remodeling is done on the cheap, I would expect a shower for a senior who is unable to step into those high tubs, however the high tubs were left. I would expect a bigger closet. It is basically a hotel room with a couple upgrades.

I wasn't sure what to think about this place. I live down the street from this business and never knew it was there! The building looks a little bit older styled but it's very clean! It's also half a Senior Residence and a hotel!! The staff is very friendly and the people that live there seem very happy. The only negative thing I will say is that I could not move in there! I toured the apartment style rooms and the accomodations were very reasonable. There was a bed, tv and dresser amongst other things. There's a fridge and kitchenette (I wish there was an actual stovetop though :( ), and all utilities included with the rent. Not a bad deal. I will consider this place in the future for a relative.

The Sliverleaf is an excellent place for Seniors. Why? The atmosphere is Clean, Safe, & Very Quiet. The Staff is Supportive & Kind. The Rooms are clean & the furniture is so nice & the Staff works to maintain the surrounding daily. Also, I enjoyed the Activities like, Movies, Games, & Discussions on Health Topics as well as, Exercise & Wellness Checks.

Mr. Desai is very nice to work with. He has been very helpful and approachable. The only down side to the property is that it is in a remodeling/transition phase so not everything has been "fixed" or upgraded. That in itself is not a big problem, it only affects the residents in that it means Mr. Desai is VERY busy with contractors and builders.

Silverleaf Senior Living was partially a hotel and partially an independent senior living community, which was kind of odd because you had people coming in to rent a room for the hotel and then you had the senior living area and it's kind of mixed together. They don't seem to have all of their amenities up and running yet. It's very limited for seniors right now. Transportation assistance wasn't available. I wasn't impressed. The person who showed us around was very kind and helpful, but it wasn't the right place for us. The dining area was basically a conference room that they convert to a dining area during the day. They had somebody who did a little session and planted sunflowers. They also had a movie night.

I was accommodated fine at Silverleaf Senior Living, but I didn't like the setup. They didn't have any place that you could cook. They had two doorways, one for the living room and one for the bedroom, and I didn't like it at all. The room was big enough, but you had two different doors to enter from the outside. It was like a hotel.

Silverleaf Senior Living is new and doesn't have much going on right now. We have a full-sized refrigerator, a little sink, and kitchenette in the rooms. They don't serve food yet since we're still looking for a chef. Right now, it's not like the big places. They have an activity center, but I've never been down there, and we have an exercise room.
