We have friends that have moved into The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes. We have gone to their functions there and looked at it. It looked like they had excellent meals, and they had a caring staff. They have a lot of activities, and they're close to a lot of medical care, which is important as we age. They're 5 minutes from the hospital, so if there's any emergency, that's important. They had an open house. They had a barbecue, and they had some entertainment and things. We met our friends that we've known for years that moved in there, and they were really pleased with it. It's a relatively new facility. Everything is bright and sparkling new and it's easy to get to for people visiting. They've had speakers come in and people talking about memory care. They were really helpful to show what they may offer in the future should we need that. That's good that they offer those things in advance of having to make those decisions. Everything is well maintained, everything is very new, and the staff seems very helpful. The activities seemed reasonable.

My mother has lived at The Claiborne for a little over a year now. The floor plans and facility are quite nice as to be expected for a new building. However, the quality of service, ESPECIALLY dining, has consistently declined. I cannot count the number of times the staff in the kitchen has quit, and they are not provided with decent ingredients when they are there. The latest staff quit again yesterday and the solution provided for dinner was to serve Little Caesars pizza. It’s one thing to have to resort to ordering pizza at the rates the residents pay, but even worse to get probably the lowest quality pizza available on top of that. The cleaning service is as inconsistent as the dining and you never know if they will even show up. Residents were promised door front trash pick up at move in and now must carry it to end of hall bins and management tried to make them take it all the way down and out to the dumpster at one point. I am extremely disappointed at the decline of service since the all inclusive nature of senior living is what appealed to my mother. Update to 5/252022 My mother met with a representative from the Claiborne and well see what happens but as of last night there dinner selection was a Baked potato and Broccoli cheese soup!! Sone real restaurant style Dining experience !! Unbelievable

The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes was a lovely place. One thing I really loved about it was that everybody had a balcony, and that's important to me. The model unit I went into was very, very nice. It looked over to a courtyard. I really liked that you could see other people on their balcony across the way from the courtyard, because it was three-sided. They all had parking for your cars and you could have pets. The person that toured me and my daughter was lovely. The place was practically brand new. It's excellent.

Claiborne at Newnan Lakes is beautiful. It's a nice, pristine, and brand-new facility. We've seen everything; they gave us a full tour. The staff who gave us the tour was awesome, and her name is Amy. It's a friendly and nice community.
