My father has moved into Ashton Manor at Sugarloaf. It's very attractive and clean. His apartment is very convenient. It's very basic. The facility itself is fine. It's very nice. The food is kind of lacking. The laundry and the room cleaning are good. Transportation has not been so great because I think they only do it every once in a while, and it's like early in the morning. Everything else is fine.

We went to Ashton Manor at Sugarloaf. It was a little confusing where the main door was, and where we ended up going in was the dining area. It was a very old building. There were no balconies and no outside space. The apartments were tiny. Everything was really old, not clean, not nice, and there was a little bit of an odor to the whole place. The floors in the apartment weren't even. That is really a tripping hazard because the floors were like tiles up and tiles down. It was really, really bad, thinking about an elderly person who had a walker or whatever. We stayed there for a very short time. The staff was nice, but the place was not nice. I didn't feel comfortable the whole time I was there.

Our tour of the independent living of Ashton Manor At Sugarloaf was good. The staff that assisted us was very nice. The place was clean and fresh. I like that it was newly redone. The layout was also nice. They have very nice amenities.
