Under new management. Barbara and Raphael are awesome in the leasing office and Mario is the best maintenance man I have ever known. I was a nurse for 45 years and had a small stroke in October of 2017. I had to stop working and go on social security, making it impossible for me to keep my beautiful home in Portofino Shores and look for affordable housing. After looking for weeks at my options, I decided to move to Lexington Club at Vero, because this is the nicest apt for the money. Barbara and Raphael worked tirelessly to expedite getting my apt ready for me, as it was not on the available list at the time I applied, but was the one I wanted, due to location in the building and was recently vacated by a previous tenant. I had issues with my disposal and AC and Mario replaced both same day I notified the office. I love the hair salon in the building! Previous salon was much more expensive than Angie in the building here and she does great work. The heated pool is very nice and never crowded.

Lexington Club is OK. They've gotten rid of the black mold in my apartment, so I am happy. They changed the management company, which was a shock for the residents, and it's been a little rough trying to get them on board. It's hard to get used to new things. They have a pool, shuffle boards, and movies on a big-screen TV. They have games, bridge, cards, bowling, and golf, and they have tournaments. They have chit chat rooms and a crafts room.

I like Lexington Club because it’s very wide open. The rooms are huge with high ceilings, lots of window, lots of light, big bedroom, and nice bathroom. The kitchen is nice, and the community is very clean. It has a little dog park and so many things to do. It has three or four floors, and every floor has rooms for everything.

Poor conditions. Repetitive maintenance. Windows work inefficiently while ongoing bed bug issues in many apartments. Rental rate increase of 100.00 at lease renewal for all tenants. They are doing many upgrades to all empty apartments and new carpet thru out building and furniture replaced in common area. However the overall cleanliness and bug including roaches is unacceptable. It is not a gated facility since gates never close and front pod key door works yet you can also open door by sliding by hand. The free Wi-Fi is only in common areas. Not accessible in your apartment so you do need a internet connection of own. Pool not heated and only cleaned once a week not warmed to a comfortable temperature for the many who need pool therapy. It's not a terrible place to live as its convenient and some good people and staff. The bug issue is very disheartening. It's the misleading info. Its also more elderly over 70 plus and disabled than a 55 plus..more like assisted living facility.

Mom moved to Lexington on the 1st of the month. The club had a lot of things for the seniors to do. They had transportation and recreation. The people were very friendly and the people that worked in the office were very helpful. She was in a convenient location for shopping. My mom got a one-bedroom apartment with a big kitchen, living room and bathroom. It's a beautiful facility with a swimming pool, a hair salon, library and a chit chat room. I think my mom is very satisfied there.
