I liked the fact that Florida Baptist Retirement Center was single level and the one unit I looked at was a one-bedroom, one bath on the end which included everything, like three meals a day, cleaning, lectures, and all those things. It also had a kitchenette and a small refrigerator. The person who showed me around was very knowledgeable. It's a place I wanted.

the cost for living there keeps raising every year dramatically, the resident is the one paying for there own food and yet they get low grade poor food and cooking. manager is only out for the money and cuts corner's on everything and has separate rules for each section of facility depending how much money you spend there. Maintenance is shabby and i am surprised that there are not a bunch of law suites on the place. the office don't know if they are coming or going

We've made reservations at Florida Baptist Retirement Center, and my mom will move in October. It has independent living, a nursing home, and assisted living on the facility. She could progressively move if she needed to. She'll be in a villa. She can still have her car, her golf cart, and a bike. There's hot water in the back. To me, it's just like where she is, a little bit smaller, but on flat, so she doesn't have to do stairs. The staff is fabulous. It's more money, but it is exactly what she wants, and my mom's Baptist. I wouldn't put my mother there if it wasn't great. Everybody was accommodating. The people who live in their assisted living go into the dining room. They've all been Covid tested, so we couldn't actually go into the dining room to see it. My mom can't walk upstairs, and there's a small ramp that she would have to go up. They opened the door, so she could look in to the dining room, and they sent a guy out. They have church online. If my mom wants to have the main meal of the day, I know they'll bring it to her villa. It's almost like a duplex, and it's not connected to the main building. Their main building has the assisted living, and there's a convalescent center there too. They go for all different levels. It's a Godsend. It's exactly what I wanted.

Florida Baptist Retirement Center appears very minimalistic as far as what they have. It is not a large place, and it seems like everything takes place in one room. Their dining area is also their activity area where everything goes on. In the villas you can get meal, but there is a charge for that. The activities are quite limited compared to others. Their activities are average.

Florida Baptist Retirement Center was very nice, simple, and very pleasant. The staff who toured us around was very gracious. The dining area was very nice. The room would be enough to fill our needs.

Florida Baptist was very nice. We saw the one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living area, and bathroom; it was beautiful and very spacious. They have scheduled activities for the residents. You have to pay separately for dining in the independent living if that's what you choose to do; otherwise, you can cook for yourself.

I liked the price of Florida Baptist Retirement Center. We looked at the bungalows, and they were dated but nice. It was not a good fit for my dad because at his age, he would need a transportation to go the dining hall. He would not be using the swimming pool, but he would probably play cards. The staff was very helpful. It was the sales rep's first day on the job, but she was friendly, and she did the best possible job she could.

Florida Baptist was nice, well kept, and extremely well operated. It did not smell. I did not see any patients or residents wandering around in wheelchairs on their own. They were all assisted. That would have been my choice. The staff was very nice and very forthcoming. The dining area was OK.
