My friend will be moving into Truewood by Merrill. Honestly the people are just incredibly friendly, even the residents there. They came out and wanted to welcome her to the community. They told her how much they loved it, and what better recommendation can you get than from someone living there? We saw lots of staff, and I don't really know what the job titles are, but they're readily available throughout the place. You can see them working and taking the time to be kind to people. The staff is excellent, very helpful, and very kind about how difficult it is to do that. She rented a 2-bedroom, and it was very clean. For me, the whole facility in its entirety is very clean. The staff was just so friendly, and the residents were very friendly. You could see the happiness there. It was just so impressive to me.

We chose Royal Palm for mom because they were affordable. They have a nice building, and the people are friendly. She moved in there last week. They have nice accommodations. The food is pretty good, and they give you plenty. They have crafts.

My mother-in-law is a resident there. While I have not seen her apartment in person, she has been happy there. However, whenever we need to get information from the staff there we cannot get our phone calls returned. It seems that someone named John is the lead decision maker but after days of trying to get in touch with him and leaving several messages both via voicemail and through other staff, we have not heard back from him. I'm very disappointed with his lack of ability to contact us when we have questions that need to be answered.

Royal Palm was a high-rise building, it's in a very busy area, the rooms were small, there were people sitting in the lobby, and it was not appealing at all for me. The staff was very nice, they were very nice people, they have exercise classes, and there's something going on every day. The atmosphere was kind of depressing.

Royal Palm Retirement Centre was very nice. It was just a little too far out for my family. We liked it a lot. The amenities were nice. They had a swimming pool and an exercise room. The people and the rooms were nice. The studio was big enough that you could put in a screen and have a living room. The staff was extremely pleasant. It was a very nice facility but older.

I am happy and relieved that my Mom is a resident of this community. The staff goes above and beyond to give my family peace of mind regarding my mom's care. They call me periodically with updates and I can call them anytime. I live long distance, so it is difficult, but they help breach the gap.

My mother decided it was time to sell her home so we looked at several retirement centers. Royal Palm was by far the best fit for her. She has her own apartment, which is lovely and plenty spacious but also has the option of company whenever she wants it by joining the other residents downstairs, for meals and/or activities. She is extremely pleased with her decision to move there.

Great place. Food is great. Steve and Kim are the best. My future father-in-law, Mike, knew this is where he wanted to be. Sold his house in Orlando! Great new family for him. Thanks Steve and Kim and staff.

They were very nice to me at Royal Palm. They showed me the rooms, but unfortunately I cannot afford it. It was a very nice place, clean and all that, but I have no way to pay for it. Everybody I met was fine. The only thing about the people who were there was they were older than me and were in need of aid. I am 70, and that is not for me. What I saw of it was very good. The rooms were nice, and everybody gets treated very well as far as I know. It was pretty clean, and everybody was polite.

The staff in Royal Palm Retirement Centre was much friendlier. They are interactive with us. They introduced themselves with who they were and what they did. We noticed a lot of people were out and going about. I just thought that the dining and the kitchen areas were a little dirty and run down. They could improve on renovating the dining and the kitchen areas.

I went to Royal Palm Retirement Centre, and all I could see was a lot of people staring straight ahead, with no life whatsoever like zombies. Everything was fine. The staff was fine. There’s something going on all the time. They have all the facilities, and it’s comfortable. I have no argument with anything they’ve done, but it’s not for me at this point.

I liked Royal Palm because you have a choice of dinner. It was more like a hotel and a bigger facility with many people walking around, and everybody was happy. The scenery was very nice, and they had covered parking. It’s near a shopping plaza and in walking distance of a hospital.

We visited and liked Royal Palm Retirement Centre. They were in the process of updating. We liked the apartments and activities. We had the opportunity to eat there, and the food was good. The staff member who accommodated us was very helpful. I went in with a lot of questions, and she was able to answer all of them.
