I toured Devonshire in Palm Beach Gardens, it's quite lovely. The only reason I didn't consider it was I didn't want to leave my doctors and it was over a 30-minute ride. I was already established with my doctors at Delray Beach, otherwise, that place looked lovely. If it were closer to my doctor's, I would have considered moving in. It also didn't look like an independent living facility, it had a young feeling to it. Even though there were people with walkers, there's just this feeling of happiness. It's very pretty and the dining was lovely, the way it was set up. It has this happy and bright atmosphere. A lot of these senior places don't have that. I had lunch there, I met with the people and I saw the apartments. They had a lovely lunch and the staff was nice. Their apartments were quite lovely and spacious. A lot of these senior places aren't spacious because they think you won't need it and that you're supposed to be out and about.

Devonshire at PGA National was a luxury facility, and it's out of my price range. It requires money upfront (at least $5,000 a month). It has good meals, nice decor, attractive staff, and you have opportunities to play golf or tennis at PGA. It's convenient, and it's next to the PGA golf course, which you have access to. It's a relatively well-groomed part of Palm Beach County with high-priced homes in the vicinity with ample grounds. We have friends who stayed there, but they're quite a wealthy couple. I would recommend it to those who can afford it. The food was good.

Devonshire is a super great community to live in. However, there's a buy-in (a monthly fee) that I couldn't afford. It was nice and big, they had great apartments, five restaurants, and you never have to leave the building no matter where your apartment is. They had chauffeurs, valet parking, a beauty salon, barbershop, and a bank. They had a PGA national golf course.

Devonshire at PGA National is a five-star facility. They have golf, tennis, croquet, and pickleball. There are five restaurants, and they have all the foods you can think of. They've got all kinds of recreational activities, and they take you to places like the theater. The staff is experienced and well-trained since they've been in the industry for a long time. They just spent $30 million to upgrade the facility, so it's state-of-the-art, and everything is beautiful.

Devonshire was an excellent facility and had really nice people. They were very polite and we knew a lot of people who lived there. The accommodation was beautiful. They had all the amenities. We thought it was a delightful community and it was perfect place.

Devonshire at PGA National is a beautiful place. The people were lively and full of exuberance. The girl who showed me around was tremendous, she’s just wonderful. The rooms are just A++. There’s always an activity every night like a comedian who comes in or a movie. They send me a calendar of activities even until now. I really appreciate this.
