I toured Covenant Living of Florida. They had a lot of good amenities, and they had good transportation services. It was a nice and attractive campus. The staff was lovely. The people we met were very, very nice and the residents seemed to be very happy there. The actual apartments were just a little bit dated and I think they were kind of mediocre. They weren't attractive. The place looked quite clean. They had people that were doing maintenance there. I thought that the problem that they have was just that the place has got some age on it and therefore it's a bit outdated. But they do a good job of keeping it up and caring about the people there. It was also reasonable in terms of cost.

Everybody at Covenant Living of Florida has been friendly and helpful. I couldn't say enough about Annie, who is the sales director. She held our hands through the entire process of moving my parents in. The facilities are all very well maintained and it's like living on a cruise ship. Having everything on site stood out the most to us. Everything is at your fingertips.
Three activities are going on every hour. There's wellness, health, fitness, strength, and balancing, caregiver classes, all sorts of crafts, woodworking, flower arrangement, wreath building, plus games like mahjong, bunco, and Wii bowling. There's just so much to do. Then there are multiple dining rooms. There's a bistro, a coffee shop, and the main dining room. The food in the main dining room is average, the one from the bistro is above average and has great service, while the coffee shop offers very good food. It's a few hundred thousand dollars to move in because you're in a life contract. It's $5,000 a month for the unit they are in, but they're in a two-bedroom, two-bath. It's about 1500 square feet with a large 18 by 18 patio and 10 foot high ceilings. It's nice and it comes with maid service.

Covenant Living of Florida is a CCRC. They have everything. They also have assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. We didn't like the facility. We were looking for a parking place and I didn't feel very comfortable about the way it looked. However, it is right next to Central Park and you can walk into it from the parking lot. I think that's probably a big benefit for a lot of people.
We found an apartment there that we liked a lot, but it didn't have a view. The patio and the view were not that great. We didn't have a meal, but we visited the restaurant and they have two kinds of restaurants, one where you can go in and take out and one where you can sit down and have a meal. It looked fine and the food looked good. The facility, to me, was a little rundown. It felt like you were in a nursing home. We'd rather feel like we're in an apartment. We learned a little bit about it and also, we are not sure that we want to go into a CCRC. We have to put a lot of money upfront. They have everything there. You can stay there until you die. If somebody is looking for a place soon, they have quite a bit of availability. The staff during the tour was good.

I liked Covenant Living of Florida for my uncle because it's a closer location to where I live. I also like it because it is multilevel care. Also, it's a one-time buy in with affordable rent. He would be in the independent and moving on to assisted.
Everything is up to date, very clean, very spacious, and seemed more like a small resort. Their maintenance department has kept things clean and updated. It has close proximity to where I live.

My apt. is spacious, clean, and newly renovated (according to my desired specifications), with a fully equipt kitchen. My own furniture fit in here perfectly, so I immediately felt at home the first day I moved in. I have the most friendly neighbors, and yet we all respect each other's privacy. The staff are all so friendly, caring and helpful. The grounds are kept up with beautiful landscaping. We have several libraries, a card room, a Creative Arts Room to do painting, floral arrangements, creating bears for non-profit organizations that care for children, card making and a host of other creative activities. There are prayer groups, Bible studies, book clubs, sing-alongs, and a well equipt gym with my favorite Cybercycle, as well as 2 swimming pools. Other activities include bingo, fitness classes, dance classes, wii bowling. Prior to the shelter-in-place due to the Corona virus, the residents enjoyed off-campus trips to the beach, museums, concerts, etc. We also got to enjoy entertainment provided by professional musicians and actors, as well as school students, and the most popular annual Christmas show put on by the administration and staff. I am so grateful to be a resident in this community. I feel loved and cared for here.

I did see a library there. They also have a swimming pool and an all-purpose type room where they put on different programs. They also have a room put aside for Veterans. In their dining room, they have a bistro and a formal dining room. The food was excellent. The apartments are very spacious. They have 2-bedrooms, 2 walk-in closets, and 2 bathrooms. They also have 1-bedroom apartments. They have good refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.

It was very nice, had friendly staff, and had very nice apartments. The room was like a condo, and they have some that are bigger than others. They are very comfortable and just enough for what you need. The food was good, and they have a formal and casual dining. They have different places you can eat at on the property. They have concerts, excursions to the beach, exercise like tai chi, and everything you can think about.

The staff is very good. The rooms are clean. They have someone come by and clean the rooms every 2 weeks. They dust, and they look after the apartments. The food is very good. They activities like games, and there is a library. They had a bus that will take you to particular places. We have a 24-hour security.
