Do not allow your loved one to live here!!! My parents lived there until Hurricane Irma hit and they lost their apt. A large portion of the property floods repeatedly during hurricanes, which is a KNOWN issue. The “Christians” who run this organization do not mention this information when they rent to these poor old souls. When Shingle Creek floods, the water treatment facility then floods, and raw sewerage backs up through toilets into residents homes. Next comes the contaminated flood waters. Finally the GSS information line voicemail fills up, Facebook responses contain no information, and residents are left to find shelter while mold grows on their belongings in their flooded homes. Repeated again during Hurricane Ian. AVOID!!!

Good Samaritan Society - Kissimmee Village is in the vicinity of the community where I have been for the last four years. The community and the services, in general, are the most appropriate for me in these circumstances. I like the location, the services, and the caring quality of the staff. They're very caring and knowledgeable. Also, I found a Spanish speaker among the staff, which helps me a lot. I haven't been able to do all of the activities. They have an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. They have a crafts room, a church, and a wellness trainer at the pool. They go from interviewing you, to finding out about your personal needs, be it physical or emotional, and if you need guidance with any particular diet. They have exercises set up in the swimming pool, yoga, and dance. You name it, they have it. You could go from buying a mobile home in the facility or getting into independent living, moving to assisted living, or moving down to memory care. It couldn't be better. This is like a resort for seniors.
