My father lives in an independent living called Discovery Village At The Forum. Everybody is very friendly. The person that took us on the tour did a fabulous tour. She took us through all the rooms, introduced us to everybody, and introduced us to the chef. She spent one total hour with us, and we covered everything. It was a very informative, nice tour.
My father has been in Discovery Village At The Forum for three years now. My father is Italian, and my mother cooked the way he liked to have his food, and that's what the problem is. He is not used to soups as he complains about the broccoli cheddar soup. He complains about their food because it's not what he's used to having. However, we went there a couple of times, and we had nice, beautiful brunches there. They have outstanding brunches on Sunday. I have no complaints; he complains about the food.
As for amenities, they have everything. They have these big monitors as you come in the door. They have morning exercises in their chair to the movie time in the evening. They have a complete schedule. And then they have a bus to take them to the bank, to the grocery store, and the doctor. The facility is unbelievable.

I went to Discovery Village at the Forum. That was very nice, but too expensive for me. The tour was very nice, very pleasant. The rooms were nice, but too small for me. The food was good. They have a theater, they have card games, outside activities, and that was extra. They had a pool and exercise.

My mom moved into Discovery Village at the Forum. She was the most comfortable there of all the places we looked at. Everyone's friendly, and there's always a lot of activities. They're a little bit short staffed, especially in the dining options. I know they are trying to hire people.
It's a beautiful place and clean. We haven't had any problems so far. They have an outdoor swimming pool, movie theater, card room, game room, and lounge area. They have a ballroom that they have a lot of activities in.

Discovery Village at The Forum is a great value for retirees who wish to leave the responsibility of home ownership behind. Your monthly rent covers almost all expenses. weekly bed linen changing and cleaning of of your apartment. Two meals daily (breakfast and dinner). the building is meticulously kept very clean. meals are of a high quality and there are a wide variety choices. Meal service can be spotty at times but the food is mostly very good. Staff is devoted to pleasing the residents. Residents are very friendly and caring forf each other. Amenities abound.

Discovery Village at The Forum is great. The staff is very nice. My apartment is very nice. The food is pretty good. They have plenty of activities, bocce, and shuffleboard. They've got quite a few different things you can do. They have a library, a pool room, an art room, a gym, activities, and movies. They have a grand ballroom where they have parties.

My parents will be moving into Discovery Village at The Forum. They're absolutely amazing and outstanding. The staff is very loving and caring. They've got very nice apartments. They have an outdoor area, a patio, a pool, grill area, and a little golf putting green. It's spotless. They have cards, a ballroom, a bar and a lounge, a movie theater, a sewing room, crafts room, a piano area, and a library. All the residents were jovial and happy to be there.

My parents are at the Discovery Village at the Forum. They were in assisted and now they're in independent. It's a beautiful facility. Their apartment has a good-sized kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, washer and dryer, and a good-sized bathroom. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, warm, and looks out for them. The food is excellent. They have bocce, happy hour, arts and crafts, cards, and line dancing.

Discovery Village At The Forum is very impressive, new and modern. They also have nice people. The staff interacted well with each and other and with the residents. The dining area was roomy and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and top quality. They had a swimming pool which was very nice and had a luxury look and feel.

I was very impressed with the Discovery Village At The Forum. It's very new and I would not hesitate to move there. What I like about it is you have quite a choice of rooms, either 1- or 2-bedrooms, to fit your lifestyle. The staff is very nice. They have something going on all the time as far as recreation and things they offer, like card playing, swimming, and massages. They have a doctor on staff who comes twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. They will take you shopping, to church, or any place you want to go within 15 miles. They have a parking facility for your car outside, and if you want it under roof, it's extra. They also offer breakfast, lunch, or dinner, so you do get two meals a day. Every apartment has a balcony, which is really very nice.
