My mother-in-law is doing fine at The Grande. She's happy, we're happy, and we're satisfied with it. It all works out. Convenience was a big thing for us to where we live, and the price, too. She enjoys the activities, she enjoys the food, and she enjoys all the people her age that are there that entertain her throughout the day. She really enjoys the staff. They're all very pleasant and helpful. They help her out with certain things that she may have trouble with. Her room is always neat and clean. It's well kept and looks good. She plays bingo, they do little arts and crafts, and make things for whatever season it is, like St. Patrick's Day is coming up, and before that it was Valentine's Day. They make little decorations for Valentine's Day. The food seems to be a good variety. They do something every day. They have a little library on her floor.

We toured The Grande for my mom. I liked the all-inclusive features but the only window in the unit had a horrible view of the building and not of any like trees or anything like that.
The staff was very nice, accommodating, and had good customer service. We had lunch there and it was very good and very well balanced.
They had a salon, lots of activities, and scheduled bus trips to the store and the activities center.

My mother moved into the Grande. She liked the room; it was spacious. She liked the little kitchenette and the full-sized refrigerator. We had lunch there. She liked the lunch we had, and she just liked the overall feel of the place, as well as what they had to offer. They take them to doctors' appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. They like field trips. They go to Publix on Wednesdays and Walmart on Fridays. She likes that, and she likes to get out and do those things. Once in a while she plays bingo.

The Grande was a fabulous place. The rooms were what I expected, and the staff members were extraordinary. They go above and beyond to make the people staying there feel like family. They offer a lot of activities, games, exercise, outings, and they're above the standards of most of the places we visited. The food was very good, it's presented very well, and the people that serve the residents were also wonderful. They're in the process of making a theater room, they have different rooms for cards and activities, they have an area where people can put together puzzles and things, and if they don't finish it, it's still there for them the next day or until they finish it. The sales person was above anything I would have expected to find. She gives everybody hugs, she knows them by name, and interacts with them when she sees them in the hallways. She does everything she can to welcome them and to make the transition easy for them.

The Grande's staff is very friendly, nice, cooperative, and dependable. The residents all seem to be very friendly, too. I've only been here a few days, so I'm just getting acquainted. The food is very good. I have watched them playing bocce, but I haven't really done too much else. They have exercise classes and visiting entertainers singing and playing instruments. I have a pretty good-sized room with several dressers, small set of drawers, recliner, a small refrigerator, and a little side table.

I really liked The Grande. Everybody we talked to was very friendly, and I liked the way they welcomed us there. They were truly happy to assist me in whatever I decided to do. However, a lot of the activities were things I wouldn't be interested in, and I didn't particularly care for the comments from the staff member when I told him that. They go to grocery stores twice a week. I saw a room that I could have gotten that was really small.

I took my mother to The Grande, and it was OK, but it was small. We ate during our tour, and the food was very good. The people were very friendly, even while we were eating. People came over and introduced themselves. They have games and nightly activities; it seems to be a very active community.

My grandmother is staying in The Grande. The people are great, the food is good, and she seems happy and doing well. Her room is amazing. There are people I know in Denver with smaller apartments than hers. They went to the wildlife park, go to restaurants, and have all kinds of outings every Wednesday. They have a lot of things going on in the community as well without leaving. The food is exceptional, and the area is nice with a lot of things close by.

I’ve had a patient at the Grande. It was a nice-size room with a private bathroom, and the gentleman had his own furniture in there with plenty of space. I checked the dining area, and it was very nice. They had an open house and the residents were into the hostesses, and it was really nice. They had exercises and would take them on outings.

We visited The Grande. The staff there was very nice, but I didn't like the individual room. The shower was extremely small, and she would have to step over or step up into a 6-inch step, which she could not have done. The individual apartment was too small. There was only one pull chain in the entire room. Pets were allowed, and it simply smelled lie urine. I think it was cat's urine. We visited on a Friday night, and they were having some live entertainment. Their dining area was very clean and very nicely set with lots of light.

The Grande was really close to where I was living and where my brother lives. Everybody was very friendly, and I just kind of liked the lay-out for where it was, which was really nice for us. Things were more centralized and exposed together. I thought it might be an easier access for my parents with their limited mobility. It wasn't as new as the other place, but everything still looked pretty clean and good. I couldn't find anything really wrong with it. I think the rooms were just a bit bigger. It was fine, and I liked it. I was trying to convince my parents, but they wanted to go home.

I've seen The Grande when I was looking for an independent living facility for myself. It's an old hospital that was converted to a facility. It's nice and clean. It's brand new and bright. For their apartments, they have a one bedroom, studios, and I think they also have two bedrooms. I was there for lunch and their dining area is clean and they have good service. The food is so-so. They have movies and they go to different places as well.

The tour with The Grande was excellent. I was quite impressed with the location, the surroundings, and also with the people I got to talk to. I met a lot of them, and they were just delightful. If I was looking for a place for myself, that would be where I would go. The place I saw was quite spacious. They had a single room, TV, a bathroom, and a balcony that looked out to the garden. They had all kinds of activities like exercise, singing sessions, and movies. They’ve got it all.
