I liked Concordia Village of Tampa, because the special that they have going on right now is very attractive. It has a low entrance fee and they have just about everything to do. They serve all your breakfast, they have a lot of activity, and the person that we worked with, Christine, was very helpful. They all seemed very friendly.

Everybody at Concordia Village of Tampa was nice. Everything was good. I felt that it would best fit our needs. The lady who gave us a tour was very nice. They have a dining area, a library, rec places, exercises, and all kinds of stuff. They did everything I asked.

I toured Concordia Village of Tampa. Although I am a senior, I still have an active life and I was looking for independent living and their business model. When I visited them a few times, I enjoyed their business model. The staff and the director are very, very professional and their communication is great, as well as their knowledge. It is a campus and not a high-rise or a building that has no way up to go. It has a swimming pool, two cafeterias, and little stalls. You can bike or you can walk without the need to go out if you don't want to. So, it is very flexible for somebody like me that is still actively involved. I only met the people from the marketing and the director as well as all the volunteers that do work or volunteer their time and energy in the independent living quarters. One thing that I liked are the tenants that I met. They seemed to be so happy to be there and some have been there for 15 years and up, so it must be a good place. I did not go to the formal dining room, but I did go to the cafeteria, which is also served warm food and a lot of different little individual snacks and coffee all day long. It's very nice and very well organized. It is a very busy place offering all these different amenities. It's enjoyable. They have a lot of games like mahjong, and bridge. Once you're there, you keep yourself busy and you are not by yourself.

The residents at Concordia Village of Tampa were OK. They were happy. It used to be a Catholic place and now it's a Lutheran place. The lady was wonderful. The staff there was very, very sweet, and very nice. They gave us lots of information. One of the things that they have is that they're almost sharing the same ground with AdventHealth, which has become a big medical provider. It's a huge hospital and it's right there on their grounds. Also, they have a nursing home. There they can take care of you. Unless you're living there, you don't know exactly what's going on, but from what I could see, it was very good. One of the things that I liked about them was that they were updating the apartments because this is an older building. It was very nice. The staff members were very good. What they have is a high-rise building with apartments, then they have this other maybe one- or two-story buildings, which is where I toured. They also have apartments and both areas have independent and assisted living. It's very nice. Before you get in, they have somebody checking why you were there.

I looked at the independent living of John Knox, and everything was very nice. The apartments were very nice, but they needed to replace the carpeting. The lady who we met was very nice, very knowledgeable, and very thorough. The dining area was very appealing and restaurant type. The pool was beautiful.

Our experience at St. Joseph’s John Knox Village was very nice, but everything seemed a la carte. That wouldn’t work for my dad. The cafeteria was more buffet-style. The rooms were OK. The people were very nice and friendly.

St. Joseph's John Knox Village was very nice. The staff was very friendly, informative, took a lot of time with me and was very good. Everything was lovely. I don't have anything negative to say. They had a beautiful pool, and I liked that they have a chapel. They had a barber shop, a beauty salon and a place to do their nails, a library, a computer room, a movie theater, and an exercise room. It was endless. It probably had the most amenities out of all the places I have looked at.
