Shipley Manor was very nice. I was very impressed. They were able to answer questions that I didn't even have, which was nice. I was able to see a couple of the model rooms. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable and had a lot to offer me in terms of information. The facility seemed very nice. I didn't see any trash around or any of that. It seemed clean.

I visited the Shipley Manor for my mom and I like it a lot, it's a place that would work. The staff that gave the tour was very nice and knowledgeable, and the rooms were very nice. The dining area was very nice, and I like everything about the facility.

Reception staff are very nice and helpful. Maintenance staff are great. Cleaning personnel need to be reminded to leave toilet paper. Food service struggles to provide interesting and hot meals and are understaffed with servers. When relative arrived 5 years ago, food service was great. Why did it change?

We live in a 2BR cottage and love it. Well built, comfortable, deck off living room, nice view to the back. Lots of green. Deer. Foxes. Nice neighbors.
Staff provides really great TLC. The are almost uniformly cheerful, helpful, and responsive.
We looked at many retirement homes 5 year ago and Shipley met our needs better than any other (and we would move here tomorrow!)

We had a tour of Shipley Manor. It was very nice. They have very friendly staff, and it's very clean. The woman who gave us the tour was very informative. It's just positive, I don't have anything negative to say. They take all the normal precautions.

We liked Shipley Manor. I liked the cottages, which seemed to be roomier, but my wife wanted to go with the apartments. They had activities like exercise, Zumba, and weight loss. They have nurses on-call, and they would take us to our doctors. They have three meals a day. The place looked very nice.

My mother is living in Shipley Manor. She moved in there the end of October last year. It's the best that we found here. We chose this facility because of its proximity to me and the cost. The people there are extremely nice. The staff is very caring and very thoughtful. They seem to take an interest in each one of their residents. They remember their residents' names. They're very nice. For accommodation, my mom has a two-bedroom apartment. It has a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. For activities, my mom doesn't get involved in a lot of activities but they do have activities for them. They go to different places for activities. They have a bus that takes them to doctors appointments and there's grocery shopping and shopping. They have different games like bingo, Mexican Train, pinochle, etc., and I think they have a bridge club. The facility has a gift store and a library in there too. With regards to food, I haven't eaten there, but my mom says that the food is very good. They serve two meals a day, lunch and dinner, and they seem to be very good and very nice.

I visited a place called Shipley Manor. It was a very nice facility. It was also clean. Everything was excellent except the size of their apartments. Their two-bedroom apartments weren't that big.
