We toured Millcroft Living. We like the fact that they provide meals and all the amenities that my parents would need. The staff were very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. Some of the hallways were very narrow, so it was hard for my mother, who has a wheelchair. They have a salon and a courtyard. They have a lot of activities. They have like common meeting areas.

I have nothing but good things to say about Millcroft. The apartment was rather small, but the apartment was certainly larger and adequate. The building was newer, and although I didn't talk to a lot of the staff, they seemed very helpful, very efficient, and pleasant.
The premises were actually lovely. They have a decent gym, a library, and they provide the meals. The lady mentioned that you had a choice of two meals for lunch and dinner. If neither one of them are suitable, there's a set menu that you can always choose from. Breakfast was like a self-serve buffet. As far as entertainment, they had a happy hour on Fridays. So, it seemed like something really, really nice.

I know Millcroft because I visited someone weekly there through church before Covid. I have been in their dining room and I have eaten there with the person I visited. Everything was very comfortable. Their independent room happened to be a 2-bedroom, and it was very spacious. The dining room was very elegant, and the food was nutritious and tasty. The staff was very nice.

Millcroft was excellent. The staff was very helpful and very responsive. The apartments were spacious and intimate. The dining room looked lovely.

We moved Mom into independent living at Millcroft. The only thing she took advantage of there was the meals. She was happy with the meals. They'd bring meals into her room, so we were very pleased with that. We felt that they took good care of her when she didn't feel well. She continued her rehab there also, because there's a rehab facility. She was able to do another three weeks of rehab, so that was very good for her.
The staff was very caring. They continued to ask us if there was anything that they could do to make her stay better. They went out of their way to make her happy. She possibly would have stayed, but it is expensive and I think the cost was a major concern of hers. We had no complaints about any of the physical part of the facility. I thought it was nicely cleaned and kept up. She didn't take part in the activities, but they did have a number of activities she could have taken part of. I give it a high rating. I thought they did a nice job.

Millcroft was very nice. It seemed a little bit older, but I thought the apartments for the independent living were more spacious than most of the others in the same price range, so that was a very positive thing. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and nice. It was all very positive, actually. The areas for the public were maybe a little smaller.
It was very impressive. It was more homelike, I think, than some of the other apartments of other facilities where they seem to be just more like little studios. This was more like a little regular one or 2-bedroom apartment. They have a lot of activities. They also have movies and a library. I like that the halls and the apartments were really pretty and spacious.
