Tower One/Tower East was a kosher environment. They had lectures and it seemed to be quite an active place. We saw a studio which was very small, and a 1-bedroom apartment which looked OK. They had buses that go to the market and to the theater. The staff was very good and very nice. It was located right in the middle of downtown New Haven, so the residents were free to walk around if they wanted to.

My grandmother hasn't moved in yet at Tower One, but it is a nice place. The facility is clean. The staff is cordial and nice. They have a café. They have laundry at each floor. They have physical therapy and a doctor on staff. They have a hair salon, and there is like a little convenience store.

My mother was very happy with Tower One; it’s just that their waiting list is kind of too long. I thought that it was really decent, and my mother was happy with it so I was pretty much happy with it. My mother has a sister here, and that’s why she likes it here. There are a number of activities you can do there. They have a little church, sometimes there’s bands, plays, and movies.
