We visited The Villas at Sunny Acres. We also knew friends from church that had their parents there. They seemed very flexible. They had a lot of things to do if you wanted to join them, but if you wanted to be by yourself and do your own thing, that was fine, too. They had gardening, crafts, a small do-it-yourself shop with tools and people to help, and dinners to celebrate different things. It was a well-rounded assortment. There's also needlework and cross stitching. The chairs in the waiting area and the halls had cross stitch coverings on the pads. So, they had a lot of homemade things.
The independent living had little cottages that had outdoor patios and even a little area where you could have your own garden. On your patio, you could have your charcoal grill. The parking was just crowded, but they were actually working an additional parking lot, which wasn't done yet
