My tour at the Meridian at Lake San Marcos was wonderful. They had the roomiest units of everybody I saw, some are almost 1800 square feet, and I'm on the waiting list for them. I'm going to eat there for dinner tonight. They had a pool, had dog park, they had a vegetable garden that the tenants maintain, which I like that idea. The staff that gave me the tour was very nice, you could tell that everybody adored him. He's a young man, they were making jokes with him and you could tell that they felt like they were his parents. He started working in the kitchen and worked his way up, he said that his calling is to work with seniors. They have a big gym or workout room, they had a physical therapist, and they had a lot of stuff for the residents. It's very nice and very affordable. They take a $5,000 downpayment check and they don't even cash it. This community is my first choice if I could get a big unit.

I like Meridian at Lake San Marcos. I actually had a deposit down there, but they didn't have what I wanted available. It was very nice. They had lovely grounds. It's an older complex, but it looked very nice. I was very impressed. The staff was very accommodating and kind. I had a lovely lunch there, and it's very good. The rooms were a little older, not necessarily the colors I wanted, but they were nice and a little bit larger. It's a lovely facility.

My dad moved into the Meridian at Lake San Marcos. He is very happy, and the community is fantastic. It's very nice and elegant. The staff is all very good, friendly, and informative.
I've not eaten the food, but my dad says it's out of this world. He says it's the best food he's ever eaten in his life. That makes all the difference.
There is a gym there. There are also exercise classes every day and a swimming pool. They have tons of bingo and Trivial Pursuit. There are golf courses within walking distance, too.
It's a lot of money, but I've never seen my dad this happy in twenty years, so I'm going to say it's worth every cent.

I toured Meridian at Lake San Marcos. Their situation was that if I needed assisted living, I would have to move from the independent living building to the assisted living building. It's beautiful and very well maintained. I got to see an apartment that was larger than the others that I have looked at, and someone had recently moved out. I didn't get to eat at this facility due to Covid, but I would give it 5-star all the way around. The people that I talked to were very helpful, and the amenities were excellent. The only situation that I wasn't really aware of before I went there was that I would have to move from one building to another and I don't want to have to move. I hope to just do one move and that would be it.

I have lived here at The Meridian for 16 months, and I think it is thoroughly enjoyable. After comparing various senior living facilities, I have noticied the following significant differences: #1) The Meridian has apartments larger than any other facilities I have visited. #2) A requirement to work at The Meridian is your ability to sincerely enjoy working with people. #3) The meals are excellent as they are at many of the other facilities. #4) The opportunities for lifestyle activities are available for all who care to use them. #5) Transportation is available for medical, shopping, and outings. #6) There are beauty shops, weight rooms, assembly rooms, libraries, theater, full bar, and pool all available when and if desired. #7) And finally, the management at the Meridian is not only knowledge but very very friendly.

Executive Director Launa, Shawn, Austin and the entire staff at the Meridian have done an amazing job during the Covid-19 pandemic. They have all been working around the clock to protect the residents and yet continue to provide all the necessary services with care.
The chef and kitchen staff are working very hard and creatively to keep all the residents well fed with tasty meals.
My parents are new to the Meridian and are very thankful to God and the Meridian staff for the blessing of living there.

As a resident of the Meridian I have had the opportunity to observe Vickie T., Dinning Room Supervisor, on a daily basis, for over a year and a half. Her professionalism and dedication are beyond reproach. Needless to say working with varied levels of Senior Citizens requires tremendous understanding and patience and Ms T. excels at both. Her attitude and dedication has helped make the Meridian the outstanding Senior Living facility in the San Diego area.

I visited The Meridian at lake San Marcos. I liked it very much, and it's fairly new. It's just lovely as you walk in. They provide two meals a day, and they have underground parking, which was important to me. I have a friend who has lived there for five years and she really likes it a lot, she doesn't have any complaints. They have an outdoor swimming pool, a library with computers, and a room where they do exercises. I've been there quite a few times for lunch and dinner and the food is good, the staff seemed very nice, and they have graduated care. They have assisted living and memory care units, and that was important to me.

The Meridian at Lake San Marcos was very good. The layout of the apartments that I looked at was good as well. It had a washer and dryer in the unit, which was important to me. They allow cats. We had lunch there and it was excellent. Everyone I met was delightful. They couldn't be more helpful. They also had a library. It was a very nice tour.

I went to The Meridian at Lake San Marcos and toured it. It was a really nice place. A little more expensive and far out for me, but it was still a nice place. They have a very beautiful common area, a pool, and a courtyard. I liked their overall layout. I didn’t get to see the size of the room that my mom and her boyfriend would be able to have, but I saw a larger one. It looked like a very nice place. They were very friendly, and it was close to some activities that they might enjoy. It was a beautiful facility. The only thing, it was a little farther out for me, and I wanted something that was much closer so that I can see my mom more frequently. Other than that, the facility was very nice. Maybe more grassy areas and more garden-y kinds of things would be pleasant. But I like the fact that they had open courtyards between the buildings with umbrellas and tables and people could sit and enjoy that. And they had a pool, so I thought that was great, and the activities were nice.

We chose the Meridian because of its cleanliness, the size of the room, and its affordability. The staff, and everyone seemed to be pleasant. Mom has a one-bedroom about 550 square-feet, and they furnished it. She has been there for about 10 months now. The dining setup is like a restaurant.

Dad has been in The Meridian for seven months now. The rooms were nice and good. The staff is fine and great. They have everything that anyone could want there, and they have all sorts of things available.
