Carlton Senior Living was very pleasant. The food was nice, the apartment was nice, but it had two tiny closets. It was the right location, and everything was fine, except the tiny closets. I thought there were probably more people there who were less active and needed more care than I do.

Carlton Senior Living San Jose was adequate, but it's not something that my sister would select. Based on our estimation, they're at the middle of the road and we weren't very impressed with them. Their rooms were mediocre.

I was favorably impressed with Carlton Senior Living San Jose. It seemed to be a good facility. I would look into that again. They had a room that you could go to and get food at any time, and that kind of impressed me. The person who assisted me was nice and fine. They were accommodating and answered all our questions. The downside is there's not much outside space, but they are located where there's a huge lot behind them, and that was nice.

My relative is in Carlton Senior Living San Jose. They have a high level of caring and desire for the residents to be happy. It's clean, attractive, and easy to get to. It's close to where her family lives. Her room is attractive and clean with adequate space for someone in her circumstances that meets her needs. I would recommend it. I ate a meal there. The activities look great. The price is high, but you get what you pay for.

It was closer to us, and it was pretty good. I was a little more comfortable at the Carlton probably because it was a dead-end street and it just seemed a little bit better. We had a good visit there.

We didn't have a tour at Carlton Plaza because we didn't have a comfortable feeling when we walked in. There was so much hustle and bustle right there at the entrance. There was just a lot of business going on right there. When you walked, in there were all these people. When you walk a little farther, the desk was to the right, and the dining area was to the left. The place where they ate looked like a restaurant. We had to wait quite a while to see and talk to somebody. It seemed to fit more to people who were residents and just living there. We were concerned that in that place, my mother might just walk out with a group of people. We were not able to see the unit.

Carlton Plaza was very nice. My mom, didn't liked the room because it was studio and she wanted a one-bedroom apartment, but everything else was really good. I liked it because they have memory care. The staff was really helpful. They had swimming, the had a lot of stuff on health, they had a diabetes workshop and a whole lot of other workshops. I would recommend it to other.
