My mother chose Atria Hacienda. She is starting at the independent level. The layout is great. They've got wide hallways, a very nice reception area, and nice little family areas when you first come in. There's a library and a meeting room for new clients and people that are looking. They had three different dining rooms, and it's very clean and very well kept. The staff during my visit was great, very informative, and very helpful. There were several amenities. There was a crafts room, a gym, an area where they do chair exercises, a heated pool, and outside patio areas. The staff was very accommodating and answered all my questions, and she's done a lot of follow-ups. I looked at different Atria facilities, but this one met my mother's needs.

Atria Hacienda was fine. It's a brand-new facility and has a lot to offer, but I'm not ready for a retirement home. That is, they have independent living, but it's mixed in with assisted living and more terminally ill patients. If you're going to offer a place as an independent living, one shouldn't be in a facility where you encounter people who are less energetic than I would appreciate. It should be a separate wing or separate facility on the grounds, but they have both of those units mixed together, and it doesn't ring well with me. The facility itself physically was really wonderful. The apartments were large. The amenities were terrific. But again, you make the independent living with the not so well with, let me say, terminally unwell people, and you see them on a daily basis. You can't go to breakfast, lunch, or dinner there and enjoy your meal if somebody is unable to feed themselves, unable to sit by themselves without support, with an aid or something like that, or that it was just, let me put it this way, it wasn't what I expected. So the prices were right, the amenities were right, but the conditions were wrong. They have a landscaped courtyard, they have a swimming pool, they have arts and crafts, music, and rooms where you can play cards, or relax and read a book. They have a beauty salon for the ladies, and a mini-gym, and they're self-contained. You don't have to go outside.

I like Atria Hacienda. The place is very nice. The people were very nice. The size of the unit was a little bit bigger, and that was one of the reasons that I liked it of most of the places that I toured. I liked the layout. At this point, that's the one I like the best. Everybody seemed happy, which was a nice thing. They have games and card games. They have a movie theater, and they have a pool. They seem to have enough to keep you busy, as busy as you want to be. We didn't try the food, but they did give us some cookies (which were absolutely delicious). I had very little experience with their staff, but everybody was very nice.

Atria Hacienda was a very nice place. They offer pretty much everything I would think anybody would want. It's perfectly well maintained. The interior of the units was very nice and good floor plan even for a studio apartment. The staff was very nice, professional, and answered all our questions and all the information. It was a very good visit. They had the salon, they had two group activities in progress, and they had an impressive-looking kitchen, not exactly the food being prepared, but the equipment was good. They offered a wide menu plan. I think it was an open restaurant, 7 to 7, and they can order anything they wanted.

I've lived at the Hacienda for a short time. I am most impressed with the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and amazingly seem to know all the residents' names. I look forward to when the Covid restrictions are lifted so I can go on the day-long outings that are planned.

It is difficult to say because I lived through a period like no other(pandemic). Nevertheless, anyone interested in Independent Living at Atria Hacienda should know that at any time when there are episodes of of possible contagion there will be a lock down and such periods can be difficult to handle due to no direct contact with family. However, when all is normal your life can be perhaps as delightful as it was in your own home meeting new friends , no shopping for groceries, no cooking, no repairs etc, etc. There are a variety of activities for all tastes. During summer time you can enjoy the pool as well special outings and entertainment.

Atria Hacienda was great. It was beautiful. The person that showed me around was fine. They have a ton of activities, and they have a movie theater. I ate there and the food was good. The facility was wonderful.

Atria was quite nice, but it wasn’t what I wanted. I only saw apartments, and either the people I was visiting were not as needy as I, but I have maid service at the facility that I am in or housekeeper once a week -- and I think they also do -- but it was nothing like home. They had a 2-bedroom, and it looked just like an apartment. I came in to the patio -- which was quite small -- and they had no garage. The staff was very friendly, and it looked like a place for old people. It’s clean and well-maintained.

We visited Atria Hacienda. It was too big for me, personally and had too many units. However, it was clean and well maintained. I did not tour the whole thing because it was expensive and too big. I would not be happy there. However, the staff working was friendly and knowledgeable.

One of the top two places that would be conducive to my parents is the Atria Hacienda. First of all, the gal was very pleasant, and the community itself was very clean and very welcoming. The apartments available were very roomy, it seemed like the residents were very happy, and they had a lot of activities to offer. I like the fact that they offer quite a selection, the dining hall had linen tablecloths and linen napkins, so it felt homey, and I just felt that they went above and beyond to make the residents feel welcome. It appeared that the staff was very attentive, and they seemed very friendly. I know that they have like a social hour, card games, and a theater, they bring in lecturers or speakers, and they have an exercise group. It is right across the street from the local mall, and the hospital is one major block away, so it is close to the hospital my parents use for their healthcare. The location is very ideal for them.

My sister was in Atria Hacienda, and they were very good. They treated her very well. They had a lot of activities like games, crafts, and sing-along. The food was good. The facility was bright, and the people were cheerful and very accommodating.

I did visit Atria Hacienda and the people were nice and very professional. Their landscaping was very well kept up. I found the place to be very adequate for my mom to live and we are on a waiting list right now. They have a lot of activities and they have a club house where you can do stuff. It looked like they had a lot of information on scheduled dates with their activities. It looked very organized.

Atria had a veteran's luncheon, and they had a volunteer who was very knowledgeable about veterans' benefits. My husband was a World War II veteran, and that was very helpful. The people were very nice and helpful. I just didn't like the facilities. They were located in a very busy and high-traffic highway. The rooms were really small and not very well appointed, and I didn't like the food.

The Atria was very clean and nice. The woman who worked with me was wonderful and she had me come for lunch and that's when I decided I didn't like the food there. It was well done but the food was kind of like restaurant food. I eat gluten-free and organic so you can imagine that wasn't anything like that. It was too much like a facility for aged people. I saw groups of people sitting at card tables playing cards and they had a nurse's assistant with them. I think the people were mingled together even though it was independent living and they were being led by nurse's aides. I walked in there and I felt depressed. I think the location is difficult. It looks like squashed in between office buildings. It's in a very busy street and there's a big shopping center across the street and it's off one of the main highways that goes to the desert. Even though they had a pool and a grassy area, I knew that Atria wasn't for me. I'm more out an outgoing sort of person and if you're a stay at home kind of person, I guess that wouldn't be so bad. When I walked out the front door, it's surrounded by a small parking lot. There was a man sitting there who looked like he had dementia or else he was depressed. I thought these older men couldn't just walk away but it almost seemed like he could and there was a busy street there.

If I have to decide to stay in a senior facility, Atria Hacienda would be the place. I was very impressed with them. The environment was very comfortable. It had some elegance and element of environmental beauty that I enjoyed. It was just very clean and very well furnished. A movie theatre was inside the facility too as part of their amenities. I had a lunch there and their food was absolutely delicious. They also had a lot of extra activities that were appealing to me. They had exercise classes and day trips and speakers would come in and talk on different subjects. The staff also came across as extremely friendly. Their apartment size would be an adjustment for me because I like a little room, but if I was going to make that move, Atria Hacienda is where I would go.
