I've toured The Terraces of Roseville, it was nice. It was well laid out with good safety features, and the staff seems friendly. The apartments were put together so that a senior person would have an easy time getting around the apartment and utilizing the services they had. So I liked the way it's well laid out. There were wide doorways for the walker and a step-in shower, that kind of stuff, so it was safe. It was a good place. I was looking for some kind of interactive things that they do with the group, but as I recall, Terrace didn't do a lot. They have a gym but they don't offer classes, and they have a list of activities but not as many as the other places. They also have a library and a puzzle room and things, but what I was looking for, besides having a safe place to live, is that they can also get my mother out of her house. The staff that I met with was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She knew about the facility for sure, she was able to answer all of my questions, and she gave a good tour. The building itself was very nice. The one thing that I didn't like there was that it was hard to find a place to park as a visitor.

The food at The Terraces of Roseville was very good during my tour. I enjoyed that very much. What I don't like so much about it is that there are almost 200 residents, and there were long halls, which I might get lost in. I thought the apartments had some wasted space. There was more of a hallway and more room dedicated to the kitchen. But they provide three meals a day, so I won't be using the kitchen area. I love the terraces in every room, and they're also sheltered from the sun so that's very good. I only met one staff member, but she was very good. Since the renovation, the facility itself was very beautiful. I saw their lounge, they had an exercise room and they had some equipment there.

The facilities at The Terraces of Roseville were a little dated. The parking lot itself was old and the surface was uneven. It was also crowded and small. I had to walk a long distance from my parking spot to get to the front of the facility. They did not have enough ramps to gain access to the building either. They had a variety of rooms, but they were smaller. They did not have a swimming pool, and that was something I wanted. It was less than ideal, but the staff was OK.

My mom moved into The Terraces of Roseville. It had a lot of good energy. It was clean and spacious, and the people and staff there were very friendly. The apartment was larger than a lot of the other locations. There were a lot of activities going on every single day. They have community activities, walks, art, get togethers, and church groups. There were a lot of options available on a daily basis. The food seemed good. It was hot and seemed pretty standard. It didn't seem bad at all.

We visited The Terraces of Roseville. I thought they were great and from what I saw, that was the one place that I noticed had activities going on. Somebody was singing there and people were listening to the piano music down in that area.
My only complaint was that they don't have an open kitchen throughout the day. There was a set hour for the meals so that was a deterrent for my father. He didn't care for that.
The other thing I noticed, too, is that they were showing us different apartments but all of them seemed to be in different shapes and conditions and I thought that was weird. I was like, "Why does this have really nice cabinets, and this one looks like Humpty Dumpty did it." I didn't quite understand why each one of them was different. Other than that, the girl who gave us the tour was very nice, and my dad liked her too.
The unit that we looked at was an independent living unit. They also have assisted living there but not to the point where you could get a Hoyer lift in and my mom needs it.
We didn't do the whole tour because my dad was tired but the staff was great at working with my dad. They're very courteous and eager to assist.
The things that, I would say, needed improving were the rooms being different and the times for the dining. It should be open like a 24/7 type of thing or at least from 7 a.m. 'till 9 at night or something like that, something where people can come and go as they please.

I went to The Terraces of Roseville. It's a very fine facility, its very clean, and it's organized. The tour guide, Keri, was very, very, friendly and accommodating. It was a super-good experience. The dining area was fantastic, it was filled with newer furniture, and it was very clean and well organized. The residents looked happy too. The rooms were adequate, clean, and probably the best I've seen so far.
They have all kinds of games. There's an exercise room, a shuffleboard table, I believe, and all kinds of activities -- too many to list. They have cards, bridge, and a media room where they can watch movies and all that kind of stuff.

My aunt has been at The Terraces of Roseville. It is perfect and I love it. They took care of us and they helped us move her in, which was awesome. They definitely did everything that we needed for her, and she loves it. They have studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, but she only wanted the studio, and she is happy with it because that's all she needs. They have movie nights, exercises, excursions, and trips to the grocery store. They have parties for every holiday, and they are always decorated for something. They also have beer tastings, wine tastings, and dancing, so they do it all. I interacted with the Marketing Director and I highly recommend her. She is just a great, wholesome, an easy-to-get-along-with person. There's housekeeping, too.

The Terraces of Roseville is my first choice, and we will go with them. It was very nice, very clean, very personable, and very friendly. They have outings, day trips, grocery shopping, medical visits, games, yoga, and exercise. The food is very good.

I loved the Terraces of Roseville. They were extremely friendly; the staff was happy and seemed happy to be working there. The place was very clean. The food was superior and delicious. I loved their rooms. I liked the way they were arranged; every little spot had a purpose. Even though they were small, they were comfortable, and livable. It was impressive that if I moved into independent living I wouldn't have to leave the facility to go to assisted living. Each floor was a different level of care. The residents were very friendly, very social, and were talking to each other a lot. They have a lot of activities. They have weekly outings, they go on little trips, and they take them to the store and the bank. If I could afford it, I would move there. It's close to shopping, restaurants, and doctors offices.

Some of the apartments that The Terraces of Roseville showed us weren't ready yet. In hindsight, they probably weren't ready to show. They offered the same activities as other senior communities. As a visitor, my impression of the staff was pretty good. Their dining area looked good, and I liked that you can dine anytime you want, which I thought was a bonus. This means that the residents don't have to go to their meals at an exact time. The amenities looked fine, and it was a pretty attractive place with modern decor. They also have gardens and outdoor spaces.

I visited The Terraces of Roseville. Sunrise Avenue is the main drag through that part of Roseville, so there are restaurants, shopping not far away, electronic stores, and it's right off the freeway. They had nice rooms, which included a stove and oven. The facility was a little older, and they were upgrading to granite countertops. They did not have anything with balconies and that was another thing that I was looking for. I was also looking for outside access and they did not have that. I didn't like the two ladies who gave me the tour. It's a nice place, but it was older, and they were doing some upgrades to it.

The Terraces of Roseville is probably the best one we found. The place and people werenice, the staff was polite, and the services were excellent. We also like that they had variety of apartments and food, and they also had places to sit where people could talk and so on.

I have been to The Terraces of Roseville. I was never invited to eat there, and that was one of my complaints about the place because I like to sample the food from where I'm going to live if it is going to be inclusive. The rooms were on the smaller side, and the parking was a problem. I had an appointment to go there and see the place, but I couldn't find a parking spot anywhere. They had arts and crafts, a computer that people can use, and exercise machines.

The Terraces of Roseville was one of my favorites. I liked the layout and that it was close to where I live. I was impressed with the overall facility. They had a large reception area and sitting area with a fireplace.
