I went to The Magnolia of Millbrae. It's very nice, but very expensive. Anybody would want to go there. It's beautiful, it's very nice, they have three meals a day, they have housekeeping and laundry, and they have a lot of things for you to do during the day. You can choose to participate or not. It's just very nice -- nice grounds, everything. We know two people who reside there. I've been there at Christmastime, and we've had meals as a guest, so I was very familiar with the place.

The Magnolia of Millbrae was a good place. The dining area was really formal. It was a large room where everything was pleasant. The apartments were large and we saw a corner apartment which had a lot more lights than the others. It was very nice. The staff was very kind and very willing to help. Obviously, the owners care about what goes on there because it's being kept up beautifully.

Magnolia of Millbrae was done very well, from the lodging, to the food, and the atmosphere. They have trips and I'm going there next week for lunch with some of my friends that live there. The food is delicious.

My experience with Magnolia of Milbrae has been favorable. We have lectures, movies, a book club, Mahjong, Bridge, Poker, speakers who come in, and trips. We also have transportation to appointments, laundry, housekeeping, and meals served in our apartments. The staff is very friendly.

My mother-in-law was living at the Magnolia of Millbrae. It was a very lovely facility. It was first-class, but she needed assisted-living, and it was also getting to be expensive. She lived there for ten years. She enjoyed it, but it was her choice to move. It was mainly because of the cost, and it didn’t seem as vibrant as the new place. They have a lot of music, but I think they need more activities for people to do.
