We're not happy with Atria Park of Vintage Hills at all. The rooms were old. We saw both assisted and independent, and they were the same. Seemed like the cabinets and the countertops hadn't been updated since 1970. It was Formica countertops and it's like they tried to put some newer handles on the cabinets. The carpets were filthy. The lady that gave us the tour was unprofessional. We walked in on a grieving daughter. The lady thought the room was empty. A lot of the floors are tiled, and as the food carts go on the tile, it is so loud. We had to stop our conversation, wait for the cart to go by. The residents were sitting and dealing with that sound as well. It's just not a nice place. It was not an atmosphere that I would want my family in, especially for the amount of money that they want for someone to live there. I have found better places for less money.

We visited Atria Park of Vintage Hills and it was fabulous. The lady helping us there, Kelly, was wonderful, and very patient. She tended to their needs and took us to several apartment options. It was a good experience. The rooms really needed to be recarpeted and repainted and the cabinetry in the kitchen walls were old and outdated. Considering the price they wanted, that would not work. It really needed an upgrade. The dining room was a very nice area, and they offer a nice buffet, and it looked like a very nice environment. They have a game room where they offer lots of activities and stuff. It is a beautiful building, and it feels very homey, and very inviting. Within the independent living they have their eating facility, gaming room, and what have you. It is very homey with lots of open spaces outside to visit.

Atria Park of Vintage Hills looked pretty good to me. There's a lot of activity there that I don't have here in my boarding house. I need more to do, and I think that's going to be helpful for me. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The apartment I saw has a kitchen, and it's small, but it's nice. The facility was clean, too.
