My wife and I are moving to Veterans Home of California in Chula Vista. We saw a nice unit there, and it's very well kept. There's transportation available, and there's a hospital right across the street, so it's convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful during our visit.
They've got an exercise room, and they've got a library there.
There are games they play there too. I don't know all of them, but it's pretty well organized.
We have not tried it yet, but the food definitely looks good. They have a better, healthier menu.
It's pretty close to a little shopping center, a drug store, and eating places too. It's just a block away from those, so it's very convenient.
