We visited the independent living of Brookdale Riverwalk and they were excellent. It's incredible what they have to offer. I call it a gated community but you can still get in and they leave the gate open between 8:00 and 5:00. It was immaculate, the independent living cottages were just beautiful, and the rooms that we saw that were inside the main building were exceptional. The cleanliness and the updated parts were just beautiful. We are going there again to have a meal. We were sent some coupons for a free meal and I'm really excited about that.

Brookdale Riverwalk was a very nice place, but at the same time, it was overpopulated. It was very clean and nicely maintained, so that was very good, and the staff has been very helpful with all my questions, paperwork, and everything like that. Their menu had some nice meals on it, and the good thing was you have the option to go out and dine every week at different places, not only to get out of the facility, but it's just like a little field trip to get out of the place. I like the entertainment and activities that they have too.

We toured Brookdale Riverwalk, and it was wonderful. We enjoyed it. It was beautiful. The room was as expected; it was small. It is what it is, but it looked pretty nice and it looked like it could accommodate my parents' needs. I only met one person, Courtney, and she was wonderful, sweet, answered all our questions, and seemed knowledgeable. They had everything I would ask about. It was like living on a cruise ship. It looked great, and they should add it to the list for investigation.

My parents liked Brookdale Riverwalk a lot. They liked the rooms and way they were laid out. They were large enough for them to be able to bring the basics that they would need. They liked that it had the different stages of care so that it was like a continuum-aging place situation. It was very clean and well-maintained on the inside and out. This would be the place that they would want to live at.
