My mom moved into a studio in Independent Living several months ago. As of almost 2 months ago she moved into a 1 BR unit (still in Independent Living). Overall, the staff has been wonderful, kind and caring but what I take is he with is that when she moved into the studio there was a $1,000 non-refundable deposit on top of the high cost of the rent. When she moved a few months later into a 1 BR there was another $1,000 nonrefundable deposit. At the time my mom first looked at the available 1 BR unit (2months ago) it was noted that there was a partially broken window in the unit and she was assured it would be fixed. My mom now lives in this unit and here it is 2 months later and the window is still not fixed. We've now had to involve the CEO to get involved and it shouldn't have had to come to that. I've also been trying to get the Director of Plant Operations to respond to a separate matter and he has not rep!he'd to my email requests. I live clear across the country and it bothers the he'll out of me that my mom was expected to pay a non-refundable deposit on top of such high rent when her unit should have been completely move-in ready 2 months ago. At the very least they should have waived this deposit since her apartment wasn't in pristine condition when she moved in. Also I take issue with the fact that if she wanted a dog or a cat it's another $1,000 deposit. I checked a other facility on Prescott that's equally nice for Independent Living and it's only a 3K pet deposit. Yes, this place is very nice and most of the staff are very nice and caring but they shouldn't have charged my mom another $1,000 deposit for a unit that wasn't in perfect condition where we're now having to involve the CEO to get things done that should have been done before my mom moved in plus the exorbitant cost for a pet. Personally, if you're still physically able enough, you would be better off living in a regular apartment for ALOT less money.

Las Fuentes was good. They're wonderful. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It's just a little bit out of our price range. The food was very good too. They have a gym. They have lovely gardens, and the grounds are beautiful. There are multiple libraries. The place is beautiful.

In Las Fuentes Resort Village, when you give a deposit, it's non-refundable. When I first signed the contract, the person I signed the contract with said that if I moved out of the state it would be refundable. But that person is no longer there and they changed ownership, and since that was only a verbal agreement, it won't happen. The place itself is clean and the apartments are very nice. The food is not as good as the other community I saw, but they have a lot of activities.

Las Fuentes was very nice and very large. A lot of it was on one floor, but there were quite long distances for some of the residents to travel to the dining room. The amenities were equivalent with other communities. They had a full selection of amenities. The room designs were quite nice.

Las Fuentes is a community that is active and fun and offer so much. When you walk in the lobby you feel life, you are greeted the moment you walk in the door.
The residents are friendly. The food is great, activities galore. Underground parking
A very caring community

It was a very positive experience. The rooms were spacious with plenty of light, and the floor plan was nice. We had lunch there, and it was very good. They had a lot of activities, and that was one of the impressive features. They had an orientation program. The staff were very personable as were the residents when we encountered them. We just thought Las Fuentes Resort Village was a very good fit for my mother-in-law.

My Mom lives at Las Fuentes and I can not say enough good things about how they care for her. She first moved into independent living but then needed more help and moved to assisted. The caregivers are so wonderful to her as is all the staff. Las Fuentes is the perfect place to be if you need no help or lots of help. The staff goes way above and beyond making sure every need is met. The apartments are light and roomy. I highly recommend you visit if you are thinking about moving into an independent or assisted living community
