My mom lived at Palos Verdes for over a year (until she passed). The facility was very nice and well maintained. Her apartment was perfect with plenty of room. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. She made good friends there and I would highly recommend Palos Verdes Senior Living!

My parents are in Palos Verdes Senior Living, and so far things are really great. It's a senior housing community located in a nice housing community, so the safety is important. The food is good, the room is spacious for the price, and so far the people are very nice. We haven't entered into the activities yet, besides the Mother's Day brunch which was very nice. They had what we were looking for in terms of amenities. They're in the independent living at this moment. The room that was available for rent I would rate a 5.

We really wanted to sign up my father-in-law at Palos Verdes because it's a great place and they have lots to offer. The apartments were small, but very nice and newly done, and the people were happy. Everything was fresh, the food, the people, the activities, and everything. We were very impressed with the place. We liked the layout and everything was comfortable, but they're a little pricey, so we didn't pick this community. The staff member who accommodated us was great; she fit us into her schedule, took us on a tour, and answered all our questions.

Palos Verdes is expensive, but I like it a lot. They provide three meals a day and have a lot more social activities compared to other places. I also like the apartment layout and plans. Some of their amenities are like others. They take you where you need to go and once a month they have a social event where you dress up and mingle, It's really nice. This community is my first choice.

I went to Palos Verdes. It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t find it as efficient as the other community. Well, my sister and I went to a party there, and that was a lot of fun. I also went to a painting session there, which I thoroughly enjoyed. A woman came in, and we painted a vase of flowers. We had wine and cheese. It was just before Mother’s Day this year, which was quite enjoyable. I met some people that I talked to; they like it very much. I just didn’t get the feeling of efficiency that I get out of the other community. I found the people in it very friendly though.

Very nice! Beautiful outside and in. Very Friendly staff. Good food.(we stayed for lunch). We looked at the two bedroom apartments for independent care. The smaller one felt a little too small. The larger one was just right. My parents have memory issues and Palos Verde has a bridge to memory care so they don't have to move to the memory care unit right away. If they, at some point needed full memory care or assisted living, they would have to move to another unit. They offer medication management (at an extra cost) and prompts for going to meals, doctors etc.. Palos Verde offers exercise classes, outings, and a host of other activities that my parents were interested in.
