My mother moved into the Oaks. She loved the lobby's a ceiling with lots of windows, and it was light and airy. It was also directly across from Mercy Gilbert Hospital, where she volunteered before. She went in independent with the option for assistance. The staff was delightful, very professional, and very pleasant. They had a movie theater, a piano, a game room, and library. It was very nice, and Mother was very thrilled.

The Oaks, A Merrill Gardens Community was brand new and nice. It had a very welcoming grand entrance because it had a 2-1/2-story foyer, and you feel like you're walking into a nice resort. The food was made to order and very good. The marketing people had a really nice rapport with the residents.

Our experience at The Oaks was fine. The rooms were a little tight, and the price was higher than we wanted. The food was very good, and the staff was very friendly. They had a lot of activities that we were invited to do. We didn’t get to go, but they’re definitely being proactive.

The Oaks was pretty new. It was really nice. The independent living was large, so they had a big beautiful cafeteria, but it was not totally separate from the assisted living and the memory care. Somehow, it was more opened up, so there could be some movement back and forth between the areas. The residents were not just stuck in one hallway, which was nice. The rooms of the assisted living were a nice size. The layout was good. It was a beautiful place.
