Our experience with Clarendale of Chandler was good. When we got there, the receptionist was warm and friendly. The girl who was supposed to be giving us the tour had called in sick that day, and she told us that someone else would be giving us the tour. We only waited maybe 10 minutes and the lady came and spoke with us. She was knowledgeable and she knew exactly what we were looking for. She was very helpful.
The rooms in the independent living were nice. I called my stepmom and told her we were very, very impressed. The problem we're running into is that independent living and assisted living are two separate facilities. The independent living apartments were beautiful, but if she has to go into assisted living, the apartments were too small. She's 90 and she's going to end up in assisted living, which would call for another move.
Clarendale of Chandler was a very, very nice facility. The dining room was very nice. It was very upscale and it did not appear institutional and that's what we're looking for. The gal who gave us the tour commented that they're three years old, so it's all new residents and everybody was extremely friendly. I observed that just as we were walking down hallways to tour apartments and look at vacant apartments, people were talking, saying hello to each other in the hallway and to her. The help was very warm and friendly to everybody, which was nice. I was impressed with that. The staff during the tour was very nice, very polite, respectful, and not doing us a favor kind of attitude.

We are at Clarendale of Chandler and we have a nice two-bedroom apartment that we're sharing. The staff is very helpful. It's only about three years old, so it's very nice. I like the swimming pool. I swim, and it's a very nice pool. We have three meals a day in the dining room. There are bus trips to various shopping areas. There's a beauty shop, an exercise room, and lots of planned activities. They're friendly. I think it's too high priced though. There are two dining rooms, one of them is quite large, the other one is smaller. It's used more by people in assisted care that could come down to eat in the dining room. The upkeep is good. It's very clean and well kept.

I toured Clarendale of Chandler and the sales director was very friendly and thorough. All the meals were delicious, and we can order meals any time of the day or have them delivered. The people were very friendly. I talked to several residents, and they all just loved living there. It's only three years old, so it's nice and new. The price was reasonable. I like that the doctors come to you. For instance, if you need an X-ray, they have a portable X-ray machine and they come to you and take it; you don't have to go out to the doctor. I like the location. It was surrounded by lots of shops and stores that would be convenient. It was also very clean.
The amenities were wonderful. They have house cleaning once every two weeks, a washer and dryer in the unit, and they have an art room. They have a nice gym, and classes for balance yoga and different kinds of things. They have a very good library, and a pool, which I wanted and was one of my main things.

A place for the active and spry Senior Clientele. Staff is attentive and they very much cater to every need. Staff listens and considers suggestions. There is a great deal of caring and compassion within the Clarendale community. There are activities and something going on for 6 + hrs a day- if not more- and there is a vast, endless variety of things to choose from.
The residents smile here. They get along like family and there is no meal missed. They eat together, pray together and stay together. The price is very comparable as many amenities are included. The nice part is that when the time comes to move to a level of more support, it can be done within the same complex of friends and 'family'. Still with the chance to continue to pray together and stay together.

Clarendale of Chandler is less than two years old, so everything is practically new and beautiful. I just liked everything about it. I like the fact that all the appliances in the apartments are all pretty new, and it's all up to date. I like the menu options that they offered, and I need to get someplace where I could be fed, because I'm not taking care of myself properly. Everything was beautifully done, beautifully appointed, and wonderful. It was very nice, clean, and fresh. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly and introduced me to everybody that we met along the way. They were very, very friendly and I liked it. They have a large pool, and their other areas are well kept, maintained, and beautiful.

We had a great tour at Clarendale of Chandler. It was built only 2 years ago, and I thought the finishes were nice. It was OK; it just didn't blow me away. The food was good. They had movies, crafts, happy hours, and games.

In our consideration of moving to a Senior Living Community, we found there were several we could choose from.
In our first encounter, with the Sales Department at Clarendale, we felt welcomed. All the staff we were introduced to were friendly and answered all of our concerns.
A year later we still feel comfortable with our decision. This is home!

When my mother first moved in the food was good, activities were ramping up and it appeared this was going to be all that they sold us on to make the move. However, within the first couple of months, the food and the service times in the dining rooms were terrible, often waiting 1.5 hours for food orders that were standard menu items. When inquiries were made the were so many excuses so often that is became a joke among residents as to what was the excuse of the day. The food is still no better and it has 9 months.
Now we add COVID and all of the services and amenities are not available yet they are still charging the HUGE price tag every month. The greater concern is the lack of enforcement of safety requirements for the residents. Many residents congregate in community spaces without masks or social distancing. Complaints have been made to only get the response.. They can't enforce them to wear masks or social distance because it is their home too. No sir.. their apartment is their home. This is shared community space. Their failure to enforce the basic requirements in shared space is unacceptable!!! Do not allow your parents to move here if you care at all. Maybe after the virus is under control but not till then.

We have lived here for 4 1/2 months and intend to be here in the same room or in assisted living or memory care. We have found our new home. The concern the staff from the General Manager to the maintenance crew to the dining room staff show they treat us like family. We feel like we are home. Considering the stress every one is under with the virus that is amazing. We can only say thanks.

I have visited Clarendale on numerous occasions and was very impressed by caretakers ,staff, food, amenities and activities available, on one occasion i was fortunate to share a lunch setting with their dietician . The food is excellent, healthy and balanced. The staff from top to bottom is very
caring and it is evident the residents welfare is uppermost by all.
i have informed my daughter that when it time , this where i want to be.

My mother is at Clarendale of Chandler. It is still new, so people are still moving in, but it's wonderful so far. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful. They're pet friendly. I've nothing to complain about at all. It's clean, it smells good, and the food is good. They had an art class, and everybody was having a good time.

Clarendale of Chandler had very nice buildings. They had the meals. As far as activities, I wasn't there long enough but it looked like they had something going most of the time. The people were friendly, too. The rooms were like apartments and they were nice. The guy who toured me was very nice. The place was brand new and very nice.

We have selected Clarendale of Chandler. The visit is nice, but very few people have moved in yet, so it is hard to describe things yet. It is a brand new building. The apartment is very nice and roomy enough for us. The staff members are very helpful and attentive. They have everything that we want. They have a workout room and a pool.
