I was so impressed when I drove up to this facility to see my relatives (a couple). The facility was really nice a clean and by the outside appearance I could already determine that this facility was going to be really nice. I did make the correct guess because when I entered the entrance of their apartment it was really nice. At first I thought the building was going to be similar to other facilities, but it was built as a apartment community. I thought this was really nice especially since they had moved out their home to downgrade due to their age and they needed more help. The apartments were connected to the main entrance building. The apartments were one or two bedrooms for a choice to live in. The apartment that my family member lived in was a one bedroom, living room,and a bathroom along with a kitchen area. This was really great for them because they told me they felt good with the downgrade and another good thing the apartments were newer. I think this was a great facility because they were still able to have the same independent feel of living. I stayed for a while to hear their stories and they had nothing, but great things to say about the staff members. I thought this was great. And I really felt comfortable visiting them because they had a nice living room in their home that we could watch Television. And the facility building was available for us to walk around and we could go outside in the nice outside area. Hot Springs is really know for a great nature spot, and the building was located in a good spot to enjoy some nature to view tree and look and the birds. Also, there was a nice dinning area to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think this really nice because there are times people may not want to cook or may just not have the appropriate ingredients to cook. My family members were friends with other couples, so I thought this was really nice, which made their stay enjoyable. Also, they told me if they need assistance with cleaning someone is available, I thought this was great because sometimes they have problems with their knees and back. And there even someone available to take them to doctors appointments, when their daughter can't make it. After all, this is a really great place to stay that includes everything that a elderly person could ever want.
