Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They have been a big help. I am disabled, so it is hard for me to do certain things. My caregiver is really flexible with certain tasks.
I like that they communicate well if there is going to be any scheduling issues. I like that they use email.

We got Right at Home for my dad. They help with light housekeeping, companionship, and errands. It's only been about 30 days since we've been using them. Billing and scheduling are excellent. They've done a really good job. The caregiver, so far, has been great, doing what she can. She shows up and she's taking it slowly with my father, which is good. But she's doing fine so far.

My primary caregiver is Sarah and she is very good about doing things that need to be done like laundry, watching my skin care and she just takes very good care of me.
I really like that they are very flexible and very organized with the caregivers and having a back-up plan.

Just having someone has helps. I liked the person we have now, but I don't know how long she will stay, since it seems they have a high turnover rate.
Since I only have someone for 1 hour a week, so it seems like they are having a hard time finding people for us.

I don't know what I would do without them since I am alone at home. I have had some hip operations and the caregivers are very good at keeping their promises to me.
I have some health problems and live alone. The agency does what they say they are going to do and show up on time. They are very thorough and do a nice job. I really appreciate their help.

I have gone downhill. It is nice they come twice a day and get my needs done. When I was in the hospital, they were able to get someone right away when I got home.
I like the caregivers, especially my main one. She picks up on things so I do not have to tell her what to do.

The services really help me because I live in Kentucky, and I'm not where my mom is.
I like that it is very easy to get ahold of the office. They are very responsive. If they see something going on with my mom, they let me know right away.

My mother-in-law doesn't always have something for them to do, so they just visit with her. That's what she needs, though. She likes them to talk with her, and she's told us about that.
One thing that we really like about Right at Home is that they are good about communicating.

I often didn't give them enough instructions to help me, but the most recent lady helped me cook for myself and my dog.
They were always here. When the one that was assigned could not come, they would get a substitute, so I was never left without care.

Lisa and Cindy are definitely excellent, but the other caregivers need a little more ambition. They got less enthusiastic as the month went on.
I had a total of five different caregivers, and only one of them was consistently late, like a half hour.

They provide consistent caretakers. She is very aware of the needs of her client, responsible and responsive, a good communicator, and takes protocol.
It is a mixed bag because we have great experience with the caretaker, but the agency has room for improvement.

I tried to be diplomatic, and word everything right, I did not want to be confrontational I wanted them to be comfortable and I wanted to offer suggestions.
They were hired because I am unable to care for myself the way I like, so they had their people basically clean my apartment and wash my clothes, it was house keeping. For a long time about a year and a half the service was excellent. Then the person that was doing the cleaning was given a desk job and they claimed that they had a wonderful lady who was going to do a good job and she was so bad. I was ready to throw her out. She was completely incompetent and then they brought another young lady and she was worst than the first one, and I did not think that was possible. I was looking for someone else at that point, a different company and I found one. I got a call from the owner and she said that I was nitpicking about the cleaning. First of all it is my apartment and my clothes, my possessions, and she did a crap job and I have every right to nit pick it is my money that paid her. I had every right to nit pick and all I wanted was a decent job of cleaning and a decent job of help and care. I find things after they leave and I found three pairs of my under shorts stuffed inside out in a ball in my drawer. The girls were barley out of high school and they acted like they were still in high school. If it was possible I would go negative on the rating.

The caregivers were good at their job, but they had poor interaction with people. They seemed bitter.
Other people should just hire somebody else. The one girl that they got is laid hands on my granddaughter.

They need to screen their employees to see if they can do the job. If I had someone that could run errands for me, someone that has a car and could drive places for me, it would help.

Right at Home was very caring and they did a good job once we got things in line with the long term health care. They should have had a younger care provider because she was in poor health herself. She was a dear lady and very nice, but couldn't do a lot of things that I couldn't do.

I like the personalities of the people from Right at Home and their philosophy about care. They have a really good first assessment process. The services from Right at Home mean that I don't have to worry while I am out.

I am extremely pleased with the staff and my caregiver is a number one (not meaning one as in the lowest). The staff is very good about allowing changes to be made if needed and working well with you.
