They do personal cares, bathe me, cook, light housework, even will water my plants outside. They will take you shopping or to appointments, We use my own van to go anywhere. Very reliable girls, usually on time unless they have personal issues or run over with another client, but someone will be here. I get along well with each caregiver, without them, I wouldn't be able to live at home...That would kill me :( So far Home Instead have been great, they make sure everything is okay

The caregivers arrive on time, they do whatever is needed to help my mom in her Assisted Living facility. The agency is extremely receptive to any requests I have made. My 93 year old mother loves the ladies that come to lend a hand or to just be a companion for a couple of hours. I am so grateful for them!!

Home Instead gets our loved one up each morning in her apartment in assisted living and helps to get her dressed and ready for the day. We have the same caregiver in the afternoon to break up the long day where they do crossword puzzle, take walks and feed the fish. The evening care giver is the same all week and on weekends to keep the consistency flow going. Great workers and a great organization not only during this pandemic but always. No concerns when calling office staff if I need anything. Often taken care of right on the spot.

Home Instead has been a very dependable, caring, and convenient organization to deal with for all my dad's needs. We have loved the caregivers who have worked with my dad as they have become friends and they genuinely care about him. Communication is great and they are very flexible with all our needs.

Only the best for Dad

When we needed assistance for Dad after being in ICU and a brief assisted living stay, we looking into several options. After interviewing, it was clear Home Instead was our best choice and we're thrilled with that decision. They were prompt to respond to our initial requests; met with us on our time frame to discuss Dad's needs; and put any concerns to rest about how Dad would be taken care of in our absence. Dad absolutely loves his care giver and having that extra comfort of knowing someone is with him and assisting as he needs is a blessing. We made the right choice. We endorse Home Instead wholeheartedly. Blessing to the entire staff for your care and assistance! You ROCK!

We have been with Home Instead for a few years. Both my Mom and Dad needed care. My Dad passed last year with caretakers by his side. He loved to tease and joke with them. I feel like we are really a family. Not only do the caretakers perform the routine duties, but they have been there to listen to and converse with my parents. Emotional support is just as important as fufilling daily needs. Everyone at Home Instead has been there for us through this difficult time and we dont know what we have done without their support.

My Mom has been receiving aid from multiple CAREGivers from the Cedarburg Branch for about a year. She struggles with Alzheimer's and a variety of other issues. Despite the challenges, the CAREGivers provided much needed assistance to her. Making her life much easier and more pleasurable.

We are using Home Instead for my father. They help him with his meals and make sure he is taking his medicines. However, on the day of our vacation, when we left, I called the company and specifically said that I wanted to know each day that they are there and everything is OK by way of text or an email. I gave them my mobile number, they had all the information, and I never once heard from them during the entire 9-day vacation. For that reason, I am disappointed. They need to improve on their communication. But I believe my mother is pleased with them because she speaks highly of the caregivers that she met, and for that I am grateful.

Our family met with HomeInstead to find a caregiver for my Mother. Initially we were very impressed with the represenitive and the caring attitude they showed to our family. After our first meeting, the coordinator met with my Mom to get to know her better so they could start presenting potential candidates to us. However, after the meeting with my Mom, even after numerous attempts on my part to check progress, WE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN!!! As the owner of a staffing company, if I ever ignored a client in the middle of a search process, I would be out of business- plain and simple. It doesn't matter what the reason is that they couldn't identify a qualified candidate, but at a bare minimum they should have communicated to explain why and suggest alternatives- that is what professionals do. Making the decision to seek out a caregiver for a parent is hard enough in the first place, but it is infinitely more stressful when you place your trust in the wrong company. Safe to say, I would not recommend HomeInstead to anyone I know looking for a reliable source for Senior Home Care.

Living with MS
February 23, 2015
We have been working with Home Instead since September of 2010. My husband has MS and then had a stroke in August of 2011. I work full time and, though I am home in the evenings, our Home Instead provider gives much needed assistance to me each evening. He also helps my husband with person care routines each night as he prepares for bed. While our caregiver is here, I’m able to leave the house to run errands, attend evening meetings, or spend time with friends. Our caregiver has become a very important part of our family. He is knowledgeable about my husband's routines and condition and readily assists as needed. He shares stories with him about hunting, cars, travel, and family. They watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and try to answer correctly before the contestants! This social interaction and conversation is so important to my husband's mental health. He spends a lot of time with female caregivers/nurses and I know he appreciates this friendship and male perspective. It is most important to me to know that my husband is cared for with kindness, respect, good humor, and skill. Home Instead provides us with this care.

Very gentle providers, they seemed to match the caregiver with the personality needed by the client.
