Local BrightStar owners, Rick and Diane Lincoln, are proud to provide homecare services of the highest quality. While raising their children, they were also caring for Diane's grandmother. They experienced the frustration of finding the help their grandmother needed to stay independent. They have experienced firsthand the challenges today's families are dealing with. They are passionate about helping other families by providing the services available when they need them.
We provide compassionate care for all ages with dignity and respect. A supervising Nurse Manager ensures that each client and family receives the highest level of care and service. We specialize in providing a wide range of services so we are able to form a holistic plan of care to meet each client's need.

My life can be easier if the scheduling conflicts can be resolved. BrightStar Care shows an interest in my wife and that is positive.

It is expensive to cover the personal care for my mother-in-law with the current coverage. However, they are very accommodating and helpful.

It is much better having the home infusion with this agency instead of going to a clinic, which is much less invasive for my loved one.

They have not replaced a couple of employees and they are having problems finding people. They get the schedule together and everyone who is here knows Craig, but we just got a new aide because one we had is not going to work anymore, so there is just not enough staffing or caregivers.
They take the time to make sure that new employees are trained correctly.

We both use walkers and when they pick us up, they put the walkers in the trunk. When we arrive at our destination, they take the walkers out and bring them to us.
I do recommend them. The caregivers are on time and are good drivers.

It helps our family to be able to function on a daily basis. My husband and I have to work full time, so them providing him with the services helps our family in many ways.

The impact is out of my control. My mom loves company, so it has been enjoyable overall. The caregivers could have a better understanding of my mom's care plan and what she needs on a weekly basis.
I would say the initial caregiver was phenomenal, but the care plan has fallen short of the expectations several times. There is not even a full day's worth of meals. There are tasks that have not happened.

She didn't check my vitals at all, and the wrapping was pretty loose.
The lady on the weekends did just about everything wrong. She did things to the wound that you are just not supposed to do.

I only have them for a little while now. I am dependent on them if I have to go for a transfusion or something like that. I am going through a difficult medical issue and trying my best to care for my loved one as well. There isn't anything they can do to make my life any easier, it is just a different life.
I think they need to improve the training for their caregivers. It feels like they send people who aren't familiar with what they are supposed to do. I think that they took advantage of my experience.

I have not been to see my aunt for two weeks, but when I was there, one of the caregivers followed me around and just stood there. She seemed like she didn't know what to do.
I called because I didn't think one of the women was the right fit for my aunt, and no one ever got back to me.

First off, they should show up on time for their shift. They should have a replacement if no one is coming. They told me that they were only here to keep my mother company.
I would never recommend them. Within the second week, they never showed up and they didn't have any replacements.
