About This Community
Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

The one that was really super nice that I liked just had a nice personality, and was real easy to talk to. He's been doing this a long time and jokes around a little bit.
I like that they come in and everyone was nice and explained everything. They put together my machine that I use everyday.

I have to have them. Most of the problem is myself because I don't want someone to come over. They help me out of the shower, gets the mail and empties the dishwasher.
The two caregivers I have are so different. One only does what she has to do. The other one drives me crazy.

They haven't messed with her hours and keep switching her. The other company I was with switched caregivers with me too much. I like keeping a caregiver I like.
I like that they're professional and they match you with someone who will work out with you. And they match your schedules really well. They are dependable.

I have epilepsy. They make my breakfast because I can't cook, they do my laundry, and they clean up. Really anything I ask them to do, they will do. They don't want me going into the basement because of seizures, so I have one lady who comes on Mondays who goes down to the basement and does my laundry for me.
I would say they are really nice people. They have helped me a lot.

It allows me to get away. The caregiver comes twice a week and it's very helpful.
They are really nice, very professional, and they watch my mother well. I was able to go on vacation for a couple weeks, which was really nice.

They seem to be caring people. They seem to have her care at heart. They want to do what's right for her and what she needs instead of coming and sitting. When I need somebody, I'll get somebody. They take care of the bath twice a week for my mom. It helps me live well because if they didn't do it, I would have to do it. I would have to take care of my apartment and her's.

I like Right at Home. The caregivers are good and prompt. She just did light work. She would mop, use the vacuum, change my bed, and clean my bathroom. She was good. If I asked her to do something, she would. She was always wanting to please me.

I liked my caregiver and she liked me. We got along nicely because we both have nice personalities. She did a lot of things, she cleaned, washed dishes, mopped, and kept my room clean. She was just wonderful.

The services are very good. The caregivers will understand your needs help you with everything. They care about how you feel each day and make changes as needed. When the caregiver is here, they make sure I have something to eat.

I do not really know about the other companies, but the caregivers for Right at Home show up on time. I like that a lot. The caregivers are able to give me a bath twice a week and that improves my health.

My husband doesn't like a lot of people or do well with more than one person, and I appreciate that they have been able to send us one person who has been with us for a while. They have made life easier because I can get out of the house.

Right at Home does the service for me so well. They clean my laundry and scrub the bathroom and stuff like that. It makes me feel halfway decent by not living in a pig pen. I like that I can depend on someone, and they aren't going to do a half-grade job.

I would recommend Right at Home because I liked their caregiver that was coming to see me before. Right at Home made my life easier in every way. They did cleaning and shopping for me so I did not have to. There is a lot I can not do myself.

Right at Home is a company that provides caregivers or companions. A lot of the caregivers are compassionate, and they are willing to help get a caregiver when we need it. They really work hard to find a caregiver. Right at Home is here when I can't be here, and they make sure that my husband is safe and has someone to talk to.

As far as getting caregivers, Right at Home has been excellent. There was one caregiver that came and was not herself and couldn't wait to get out of the house. Another caregiver left early to go to another job. Right at Home can pay their caregivers more and make sure they are hiring quality caregivers. I don't know how stretched out the caregivers are.

Right at Home has provided caregivers for my husband over the past 3 years. The caregivers have been professional and dependable. They take time to learn about my husband's disease and how it will progress. They willingly learn to use adaptable equipment. They are excellent team players working side by side with hospice. At all times my husband's needs are met with compassion and dignity.
