About This Community
Our caregivers provide non-medical home care services for older adults, seniors, and people with medical conditions and/or disabilities. Services are provided from several hours per visit up to 24 hours per day 7 days per week including holidays.
We all age in different ways, with different needs, at different times. Many adults with medical conditions, or seniors with the progressive changes that come with aging, choose to remain in the comfort of home. Our loving, trained caregivers make staying at home possible for seniors by helping with the tasks of daily living. Our person-centered care provides the physical, emotional, and spiritual support that everyone deserves.
We are committed to choosing compassionate caregivers that we would trust to care for our own family and loved ones. In fact nearly half of our staff has been with us for over 3 years! We hire qualified, reliable, honest and kind caregivers who genuinely enjoy helping seniors and people with disabilities. Each potential caregiver must pass a criminal background check and detailed screening process before we even consider them as a candidate. They are also required to complete a detailed orientation on our company policies. Additionally, each caregiver is trained in-depth on the specific care plan of each client they serve. Ongoing evaluation of each caregiver/client relationship ensures a successful match and quality of service.

When they are here, it is great, but they aren't always here. They provide exercises, showers, help with hygiene, and some housework.
The care being provided is inconsistent since they only show up 3 out of the 5 days we are scheduled, so it's hard to recommend them.

We didn't have to worry about things, because the communication was good. Everything was smooth.
They provided us with someone who is very conscious of our family's needs. She did a really nice job of getting to the point to where she was like family.

The caregiver is like an angel from heaven and takes very good care of my mother. I feel completely at peace and don't have any stress in the evenings.
My conditional caregiver is excellent. Their communication is good and they are capable of billing - they're outstanding.

They can not do anything, but that is all on the client not letting them do anything at all.

It is a definite help as it frees me up to do things that I need to get done and it provides a variety to the type of care being provided to my wife.
I have already mentioned it to someone else. Everything from the organization itself to how they interviewed us initially and down to the care the individual caregiver provide has been very good.

I wouldn't be able to spend this amount of time with my mom for the level of care she needs, so they really take the burden off of the family.
Right now, we have two caregivers who just love my mom and my mom loves them. Touching Hearts at Home works with us to help us get this combination, which I appreciate.

They have been helpful to me as the person arranging it. They are easy to work with and very caring. It was very helpful to my mom. As she is getting worse, her quality of life has been affected, but it is not their fault it is my mom's problem.
They are great. Everything is great with them. They are flexible and the caregivers are wonderful.

My mom came home bedridden from rehab, and now she's almost walking. I'm really grateful that we had someone to help her through that transition.
I like that they keep in touch and ask how it's going. Their caregivers are kind and conscientious, too.

There are so many caregivers that it is hard to keep track of them and they vary so greatly in terms of skill level and personality.

Those few hours that they are there are the few hours to live our own lives. We couldn't do it without someone coming in.
All of the caregivers have been very nice. Communication with the office also means a lot to me.

I found somebody from Touching Hearts at Home. They are very good, and I’m very happy with them. The caregivers are very good with my mother. I would recommend them to others. I think they’re very good. I think she’s a very nice match for my mother in terms of her personality. I think they do a good job of matching you up with a caregiver.

This is the best of the best as far as care giving. I have been with them about a year now and have yet to complain. My caregiver is fun and also compassionate. I am not happy to have to need the help but am made to feel that I am not a bother so it makes it easy to accept the help that I need. I really needed the help but I guess my pride got in the way. But once I accepted the fact that I needed help it got easier to accept it
