We are a locally owned and operated provider of non-medical in-home care. I can't say how glad I am to have them. I can't manage without them.
There are days where I could use extra care, but I am happy with what I have now.

Without them I couldn't function, and I couldn't do anything that they do. Their cleaning helps me, and they've been helping tremendously with grocery shopping since I have arthritis and can't do that.
Some of the caregivers are really good, and some of them are not.

I'd like Visiting Angels to be more compassionate.
They could be more consistent with care. They could inform me on who's coming and going. They change hours too often.

They come in and do things that ordinarily I wouldn't be concentrating on doing.
I am not happy that my caregiver did not show up today. That is unacceptable.

Whenever we've needed help, they help. I had an appointment with the doctor, and we needed somebody to be here at home, and they sent somebody.
They're so good to us. They take care of us, and if we want something, they send it.

They allow me to stay in my home and not having to be an assisted living home.
I like that they where very comforting when I was having a hard time because of my health, it was very relaxing to have them.

They are fantastic. They do whatever comforts me and if they can't do what I need, they'll find someone that can.

The caregiver that I have is a young girl, but she is so nice, funny, and down-to-earth. It is nice to have just one caregiver. My caregiver would do anything I ask. I have a knee joint that has been infected, but can't be taken out. She helps me to address that. She helps me with my lower body and my arms. I do what I can, but she helps with what I can't do.

I connect really well with my caregiver and together we are able to accomplish quite a lot. They impact my life just by everything they do. I cannot do those things by myself.

They're very good, but I can't find out why they can't take blood pressure. The caregiver stands by while I'm taking my shower and she does my laundry, which is wonderful. If I don't have my dishes done by the time that she comes, she does that for me.

They could contact me more ahead of time to let me know if the caregiver is not going to show. They put on my stockings, help with breakfast, and make the bed.

I needed the floor swept, and when some of the caregivers would come, they would leave and not do anything. Some of them would just talk about their problems. I did really like a few caregivers. Visiting Angels did help me get back in the swing of taking the medicines I need to take consistently, and now I do it by myself.

The girls are usually there on time. I dislike that sometimes she is kind of slow, but that's okay. They do some light cleaning, such as cleaning the bathroom, floor, and dishes.

I don't think I'm too happy because they've missed two times in a row. They set up a time and they never showed up. They said they'd call back and they never did. My wife can't do much anymore and we depend on somebody to come in and clean the house because we can't do it ourselves. Since they haven't been here for a couple weeks, I'll have to start doing it.

The only thing we have from Visiting Angels is the cleaning lady, we love her dearly. She comes promptly and does everything that needs to be done. Before she leaves, she always asks what more she can do.

A visiting angel is there to help you and work with you. They do not take over, they do what you ask them to, and are more than wiling to do anything you want to help you stay as independent as possible. They do household chores that I cannot do anymore so that my house is clean when they leave. I also feel more comfortable, and I have a relationship with them so I feel like they are my friends.

Visiting Angels has higher quality caregivers and they've filled in gaps when one caregiver is sick. Visiting Angels allows me to live independent, so that's huge. They're helping me primarily shower and with my housekeeping.

Visiting Angels helps us to get familiar with our needs before the care starts and to accommodate each other. Visiting Angels has helped me improve in regards to my back pain, but I don't think that I will ever be free of back pain.
