Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They help my mother by allowing her to be with other people. She doesn't get around well with her walker. It gives us peace of mind knowing someone is there with her. It gives me reassurance to not have to be there every day.

Someone is there to take care of my mom while we work.
So far the caregivers have been nice and been good with my mom. There was a few time where a person called in and they did not get us a replacement, but they told us.

My mom is just a tricky person. Her brain works in a different way and she was hoping to get a lot of cleaning done. I think the sweet lady who came thought she would be doing therapy with her. They were trying to find a balance between personal care and needs in the home.
They try to be very responsive. I like the online portion of it so I could check to see what services they could offer. They were very understanding of us. When they were there they did the best that they could under the circumstances.

The agency could improve by giving me a heads up as to who is coming for the week. The caregivers should just do the things that they see that need to be done.
The caregivers that the agency have are nice and if they don't work out the agency finds somebody that will work better.

The obvious thing is what I engage them for, the assistance for my spouse and her care.
For the caregiver she is qualified and does an excellent job. I like the feedback that they do. Since we are now under the long term care policy they do a good job of letting us know what is going on.

By providing social interacting with him because he is a very talkative person so it is nice to share that with someone else. The caregiver also helps with cooking that I used to do for him which provides some relief to me.
If my father is happy with his caregiver provider then I am happy, but he is not receiving care because of the coronavirus.

There was one caregiver during the day that was so helpful and got a lot of work done.
There were good caregivers and others who weren't so good, so there are good and bad things about it. Some of the younger caregivers would just sit around.

Except for one CNA, they were all very good, compassionate, and did a very good job. There was one that I asked to not get sent back but that was taken care of.

I do not know if they could do anything better. It is just a hard situation having different people coming in all the time. Maybe they could have had more consistency with the caregivers.
