This agency is fabulous! I needed someone to pick me up after a surgery and watch me for 12 hours. I called the agency and within minutes received a call back. They had staff and were quick to provide me the paperwork to get this set up. The communication was excellent. I knew who was picking me and had a contact number for them. The employee picked me and took me back to my hotel. I slept most of the 12 hours. When I did wake she helped me to change my dressings. We ended up talking and losing track of time. I had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this agency!!!

They need to train their helpers a little better.
They are taking care of my father.
They could have people who speak more clearly for the hard of hearing.
Improve with a little bit more communication skills.

I like the fact that if someone is not coming that Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care will let me know and tries to provide someone else.

They keep his home clean and remind him about his personal care and grooming.
They are very responsive and they call me when there's an issue or if my brother doesn't answer the door. Lulu is excellent.

Due to a rapid deterioration of Mom's health, we needed help in fulfilling our promise of remaining in her home. Beginning with the initial at-home assessment, Acti-Kare began provided that help, immediately. Their actions, flexibility and employees demonstrate a genuine care for patients and their love-ones. Bathing, personal hygiene, safety, PT exercises, useful tips, and loving interaction greatly improve Mom's comfort. The Acti-Kare team has astoundingly proactive communication - they initiate contact so I never have to, 24/7. I am deeply grateful to Acti-Kare for their professionalism, expertise and compassion. At every step, they feel like family, rather than a service. Connie, Veronica, and Amelia - Mom, her family, and her friends all thank you.

This agency is outstanding! I needed help very quickly and they provided me with care, comfort and the right kind of help I needed. They truly are the next best thing to your family when we can't be there. I don't know where I would be without them!! They are compassionate and arrive on time. They try to match the right caregiver with the client and go over and beyond. They respond, sometimes, just minutes of a phone call or a text. Veronica, Connie, Jenny and Martin. You are my saviors!

They just need some better workers, sometimes they are late or they cancel on us but the company steps up and tries to accommodate.

My Father is on his own after the passing of his wife. The people from the Acti-Kare Home Office came and met with my Dad and myself to see what services they could provide. They were very professional and very honest in their assessment. My Dad needed help getting around the house, getting food prepared and doing some exercises his Dr recommended. The care staff has been tremendous and he eagerly looks forward to his caregiver coming in several times a week. It is not only helping with activities but socialization as well. He and I could not be more pleased with the care staff and support from the Home Office Team. I would highly recommend the Acti-Kare Team to other families who need in home support and care for their loved ones.

It took a while to be able to understand the caregiver. She spoke Spanish.
The owner is very caring. She is a very good leader.

First of all, I would like to mention how warm and caring the owner of this company is. She works hard to find a match to care for your loved ones and you know she roots for you and her employees equally. I also want to commend our caregiver Precious who took on my parents while in a pandemic and all the challenges that provides. She is the only caregiver out of about 30 who reached my dad, who mostly is non verbal. He spoke to her. A professional and a beautiful soul. Thank you to you both!

It allows me time away while Acti-Kare employees are there. It takes me time to attend to my other needs.
They strike me as being very caring. The people that run the office seem to have a more human approach and I enjoy that.

They have had different caregivers but one of them has been the best. They really clicked and my mother was encouraged by her presence. Any service and help to mom helps my dad as well.
The caregiver for my mom is just wonderful and has been a true blessing. The whole team answers questions I am wanting to clarify.

The caregivers from Acti-Kare have been kind, caring, reliable, thoughtful, and careful. They filled the gap in my my brother’s care while we waited to move him from independent living to an adult family home. Some of the caregivers went well above and beyond their role, even bringing my brother home-baked treats! The Acti-Kare management was very responsive to our requests, and also went above and beyond (provided transport to dentist when we had no other available). Thank you so much!

Acti-Kare takes care of my elderly parents in their home. Veronica is extremely attentive, and always answers my calls when I have any concerns or changes to our care plan. The Caregivers they have sent us have all been outstanding--conscientious, friendly, reliable, and extremely helpful.

Easily contacted the ActiKare staff and set up an initial meeting to discuss what care I thought my wife needed. I found ActiKare to be flexible and easy to work with. When I actually needed the care they provided me the service I needed in a very short period of time. Our companion care person is a great match for my wife. Everyone at ActiKare has been extremely courteous, helpful and caring.

We got Acti-Kare Responsive In-home Care for my parents. A lady comes in twice a week for four hours a day, and does light cleaning and cooking. Management has been great. They came to the house a few times when she first started, and theyve been very active and responsive when I call them.

Veronica, owner of ActiKare, performed a weekly task for my 94 year mother, requiring her to pick up, drop off, & then take her back to her home. Nearly all the time Veronica waited for her providing an additional service of friend & companion. But what made her work so special is the creativity she always brought to effectively dealing w/ a woman deep into dementia. The solutions she came up w/ were always top notch, solving issues of logistics, attitudes, & the support of a first-rate caregiver.
Since her task ended, a few weeks ago, Veronica has followed up w/ me weekly to see how mother is doing. I simply can do nothing but praise her in all regards!

My father is under 24/7 care by this agency. They cook, do his laundry, get the mail, assist with bathing, etc. They will do anything basically Dad needs. The staff are like members of the family. They really care about the service they provide and making sure the clients are well taken care of. They arrive on time and keep each other well informed when they change shifts. When I go to visit my dad, I am always greeted by the caregivers and we catch up on life together, like old friends. There are even hugs when we haven't seen each other for a while! Any time we have had a concern, or a family member needs to speak to the head of the agency, she is totally responsive, will make sure she speaks to myself or my sisters since my dad doesn't hear very well, and ensure she has the right information. She also takes swift action when needed, and will correct any issues we may have. We switched to this agency from another in home agency and the satisfaction has been great, and it was well worth the change. You really can't go wrong hiring this agency for the complete and compassionate care they give their clients. Our family is very picky about the care our parents have received and we could not be happier with Acti-Kare!

My caregiver gives me showers, helps me dress, transfer to wheelchair, helps with bathroom functions, wash, dry fold and puts away laundry, dishes, vacuums rugs, sweeps and mops floors. Always arrives before or on time. If not able to, lets me know. Friendliness and attentive to my needs is a great help. The agency itself has been a great help staying aware of my care with phone calls and visits to me.

Veronica and her team of Care Givers were wonderful to my Father and Sister during the time we used Acti-Kare. They were so caring and conscientious. We had 3 different Care Givers for 24/7 care and they all were respectful, loving and knew how to take care of others. Unfortunately, we lost both our loved ones due to complications of cancer and the Care Givers were their to help with end of life. I can't thank these wonderful people enough for the sincere and heartfelt attention in which they treated my family. Would recommend this business to anyone that needs this type of service.

We needed short time assistance for my father or he could not come home from hospital. My mother felt very happy and comfortable with the care. I would recommend this service anytime. Prompt, caring, and professional.
