About This Community
We are a local in-home senior care company serving the Greater Seattle area (King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties). Our company was founded in 2009 to serve the alumni communities of all colleges and universities. Our caregivers, communication model, and operation appeal to all discerning seniors and their families who demand superior service and outcomes.
We offer Hourly and Live-In Home Care and Home Health Services to support seniors in whatever place they call home: the family home, a condo, a retirement living apartment, or an assisted living apartment. We provide a counter-balance to all the forces that pressure seniors to leave home.
WIth dual licensing in-home care and home health, our services range from telehealth calls to heavy 24/7 care with hospice or RN oversight. A senior can plug in anywhere along the continuum and rest assured you have a plan to stay home.

I couldn't operate without them. I really needed help. I don't have much to compare it to though.
I like that they are reliable and follow up. They are cooperative and flexible.

They should be helping me with my legs, getting socks and shoes on and off. I have to have that taken care of. That is not always possible to get done, however.
They are improving now in scheduling, but for a while that was not very good.

Its been really good, they have helped my take care of my husband. It lets me do things for me too.
I just did recently. I like that mostly have really good caregivers.

They are helpful, we call them and they come to our house and sometimes they take us on walks up to the board walk and it's really nice to get out and it's very fun.
I have already recommended several people to husky and said great things about them.

They hired good people and check on them frequently
The quality of the caregivers that they brought to our house and the change. The last caregivers are fantastically good. They are mature, trained and educated. They did the things better than I could have.

They are here and help when needed. They are responsive.
They are responsive to my needs for coverage. I travel, and sometimes I need more coverage when I am away overnight, and they have been helpful in getting my good caregivers. They try to be consistent with the caregivers as well.

We need aides to get my dad more engaged in activities, something to keep him active, like talking or memory games.
Their caregivers have all been excellent and make sure to check in. Their very responsible and on time.

They could have less paperwork and computer stuff and more feet on the ground. They provided more paperwork and three ring binders which I do not care about. I just want them coming. Daniel, the caregiver, is good at doing his job.
I would like for the caretaker to actually show up on time.

The big thing for me was the price. It cost more than my insurance was and the services were not worth it to me.
No one in the agency could speak English that well. The caregivers didn't know too much.

Right now it's a real struggle to not have anyone coming because of the virus because it's a big load for my spouse and he's having to do everything by himself.
I loved my caregiver and I would love to have them back. Everyone Husky Senior Care sent was professional and caring.

I know that I can count on Husky Senior Care as an organization as well as the caregivers that come. They are very focused on my dad. It takes the some stress off of my life.
They are very client focused. They also treat their staff very well and it is very appreciated. It definitely reflects in the care that is given as well.

I can still go to the bathroom and do everything. They just warm up food and sit by my side. She is good, but she does not need to be there.
I want them to show more compassion and be more understanding. They do this for the money, and that is it.

It really helped him. He is helped with showering, breakfast, and his clothes. He is very happy to have them. They have been wonderful.

It has been quite a while, I can't really remember those details that well. We also had hospice and some helpers that filled in the gaps that lived close to us.
I would recommend them. The challenge is to just find someone that lives close to here so the commute isn't so long.

The person that was working with me gave a two weeks notice. She fulfilled everything I had hoped for, and my daughter went out of the country, so I don't have a replacement.
I appreciate the woman that came to work for me for a few weeks. Each person they decide to hire seems to have a college background and have other background in healthcare or in the medical facility.

I really like the caregivers that my brother has, but the problem that I have is with the administrative side. I think they could improve the quality of the administrative side of their company.

He's really well taken care of. Us, as his family, do not have to worry because we know he's taken care of.
They have good follow-up, the caregiver quality is really good, and they have good supervision by the nursing supervisors.

My husband is a dementia person and it is hard for people who don't speak English as a first language to relate to him.
I don't know that they are any worse than any other agency, I have only had a few caregivers who have tried to relate to my husband, who has dementia.
